get a picture to show up in here along with any text. I put the URL in and all that shows is the URL. I feel dumb.

When you find a photo you want to post,

You can right click on the photo and a new box will appear if you  up look down to the line that reads
"View Image Info" This will open up another window with the web address highlighted  for the photo:

Will look like something like this: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5vza9YZof1r2mb6qo1_500.jpg

you can copy that link to the "picture URL" on the bottom of your post and it will work.

If the right click does not work you can left click on the photos and drag it up to a new tab and it will give you the web address for the photo.  Then  paste it in the picture link as above.
