A few weeks ago, a provider needed to cancel on short notice due to "mother nature" sneaking up
untimely. She was honest and told me due to the short notice, she would provide
a discounted donation on her next trip.

When guys have to cancel last minute, do they offer a larger donation the next time they visit with you?

Your thoughts if any?

...And they are treasured.

Some clients don't and maybe they are able to book an appointment when they ask again, maybe they are not depending on the circumstances of the previous cancellation.

Inappropriate cancellations are accepted by me as a part of the game but don't go without noticing or consideration when my time is requested in the future.

If you have something to do, are double-booking because you feel entitled to doing that, just don't feel like after planning in advance that it that is fine.
But reasonable notice and/or generosity goes a long way.  I'm especially generous with my time/service and or discounts in the event I have to cancel and I try very hard to honor all of my obligations once I've said yes these days.

Most of my guys take very good care of me when they have to cancel if its so last minute that I cannot salvage my day...

And I feel like my circle of friends has naturally purged and sorted itself right when someone proves themselves to not have a basic sense of respect about our arrangements with a shady cancellation.

So I don't have any real complaints about this issue- when it comes to cancellations its all good.  Observe basic decency and we are good.

What a "professional" answer Ally.

I feel the lady should get some sort of extra compensation should
she decide to see him.

I'm not sure what her discount would have been as I told her that I appreciate her honesty
but a discount on a future date was not necessary.

I did think it was thoughtful

I have never been in that situation,  but I think I would feel obligated to make some such gesture.

Blowing up their car is more than sufficient in my opinion.

If I ever cancel an appointment with you at the last minute, I will make sure I'm driving an '86 Eldorado with the steel plate under the driver's seat!

The next time some guy rubs his dry, cracked feet all over your back while you are trying to give him a world class BJ, you simply offer him a "special" stick of gum! ;)

Damn, that was just for me was it not? Bwhahahaha. I actually started a thread about guys who do this on the General Board a few months back. Think it had like 15 "likes" lol.
