I've been doing this a while but still get nervous on dates.
First dates are really hard, even though I feel I do my research.

Do you get nervous and what do you do or what does she do to calm you down?

Your thoughts if any?

I am up to about 40 sessions and I still get nervous. Or maybe I am mistaking my heart pounding with nervousness. Maybe my heart is sending blood to my cock.  

Usually my nervousness fades away when I see that I have her compliance. In other words, she complies with a DFK, BBBJ, etc, I know that things will go well

I 'm always pretty anxious when it comes time to knock on the hotel room door, particulartly if I'm seeing the provider for the first time. This happens for 2 reasons: first is the normal anticipation that I would guess every hobbyist feels in that situation. The second reason is that about 5 or 6 years ago I was visiting a provider from the Belladona Agency. I called the agency from outside one of the better hotels in downtown Boston and was given the wrong room number. The good news was that the room number I was given did not exist so I never knocked on a door. The bad news was that I tried to make a quick call from the floor to get the right number. Coincidentally as I was making the call in front of the elevator two hotel security guards got off the elevator and it was obvious they were looking for someone. They were in plain clothes but the constant chatter on their walky talkies made it obvious who and what they were. Needless to say I got on the elevator at which point one of the guards headed down the corridor and the other rode down with me. This was disconcerting to say the least. The unbelevable part was that when I called the agency from the street I was I given the same wrong number again. When I told the girl that the room number was wrong and what had happened she never even apologized, her response was "these things happen". I can't remember the name of the girl on the phone now but it was not Elle or one of the regulars. This was the only bad experience Iever  had with Belladonna in the dozens of times I used them but it's definately the one I remember most.

Like the others said, I'm nervous until it starts to happen. Some of it is worry and some of it is excitement. It's natural, though, and much like going on a normal date.  

Along what chipnputt said, I had one really nerve wracking experience. I was seeing someone for the first time. She was well reviewed, so I was feeling ok. I pulled up to the apt complex and got out. Was walking through the parking lot when I noticed a car pull up slowly along the fence and stop. I went into a building (the wrong one) and waited. A man got out and started checking along the fence. He drove off, and I went to the other building. He was probably just someone from an insurance company or something looking at the backyard next door, but it still spooked me.

I have to remind myself nobody else does.  

The hotel lobby is the only part that's intimidating, and as long as I remind myself that I'm just a guy going to visit a guest I'm totally okay. In any hotel there are undoubtedly boatloads of guys who are just visiting somebody for totally normal reasons; why would anyone think I'm any different?

Private residences make me both a little more anxious, and a little less. Nobody at the desk or in the next room is poking their nose, but at the same time i have no idea what to expect.

The less girls you see the better you can get to know them.  This increases the chemistry and helps relaxes you both.  My advice is to see only a handful of girls you like and trust.  Do multiple hours.  If you still want to play the field smoke some weed.

It can be nice to have a "regular" or a "homebase" that you are very comfortable with. You can still see other providers every now and then. For me personally, that's how I tend to hobby

I'm almost never nervous.  I go into each appointment with no expectations.  That way, if the guy sucks in bed I'm not disappointed.  If he rocks my world, I'm pleasantly surprised. If he sucks in bed, I can subtly teach him how to please me lol  You're walking into MY world.  I got this

If I had any concern about legal problems arising from the guy who wants to meet me, I just don't see him.

The only time I'm nervous is when the first appointment went extremely well and I feel like "holy crap, how am I gonna top last time with this guy?" for the second appointment, or when the guy walks in, looks me up and down, says "So, YOU'RE Ms. Wilcoxx?", talks to me for 10 straight minutes about his larger than life expectation of a session based on reviews or his past experiences with escorts.  I get performance anxiety!!  I'm a fan of letting things unfold naturally, vs having some guy seem like he's 'observing' what I'm doing, instead of enjoying it. Sit back and let yourself get lost in the moment.  That's what we're here for... helping you get your mind off your every day bullshit.

My advice for getting over the nervousness is this... Come in, take a deep breath, and let things happen naturally.  No expectations, No regrets.  That only works when you're seeing a girl who initiates things, like myself, though.
