The airport hotels are also convenient and often a good bargain on Priceline, but there's very little to see and do out there unless you like watching airplanes take off and land.
The Northend is a great place to visit, but traffic and parking are bad.

You'll want to grab a shuttle to the Blue Line. Take the Blue to Government Center, then switch to the Green Line. There are a bunch of Green Line options - just avoid the ones that say Lechmere or North Station, as those are going in the opposite direction that you want. Grab a Green Line train that is labeled any of these: B-Boston College C-Cleveland Circle D-Riverside, E-Heath Street
