There are always notes posted about the Patriots and Red Sox, but for those 50ish or older, there used to be a time when The Bruins were the team. So for those that remember Orr, Espo, Cheevers and all, it's kind of cool to have a great hockey game to look forward to for a change.

Please agree the Habs are the better team. After traveling to Montreal and seeing the passion of this city surrounding their team, you have to show them some probs. Bruins played over their heads yet got beaten by the better team, plain and simple.
Sure the Canadians were better, but the Bruins played with an intesity we haven't seen from our hockey team in a long time. It was just great seeing playoff type hockey from the local team. Hopefully they can build on it, add some talent and become regulars to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
I totally agree with you, like I said they played way over their head yet only 10% of teams down 3-1 comeback and win. It was a helluva series, believe me Habs are glad its over. What do I love about hockey, when its over both teams shake hands, classy.
