Fifty Shades of Grey? Erotic - Curious...

I'm just curious if anyone has read this book - I know this isn't a book club, but if you haven't heard about this book, it's quite erotic!  I'm curious to see if anyone here has ever had a similar "relationship/arrangement"?

Mind you I'm not into the whole whips, chains and leather... no bondage or nipple clamps for me thank you very much.  But, the whole submissive and dominant thing is a bit enticing ... okay, HOT!

Your thoughts?

D/s doesn't have to include all the bells and whistles. Some of my best sessions are the simplest ones - two creative minds, some good chemistry, mutual enthusiasm for exploration... and perhaps a strappy leather belt (because I like the leather). The most important tool in the BDSM kit is your brain. If you arouse that, the body follows. Sounds like you are already intrigued! Power dynamics in the bedroom are fascinating and fun to play around with!

Check out the BDSM board:)

50 Shades isn't exactly groundbreaking and it's far from being a good example of kinky erotic literature. Quite frankly, I found it a little offensive because it buys into the narrative that those of us with kinks are damaged or curable.

I sometimes read lushstories.com. It's free, diverse and some of it is very good.

To answer your question, I've been known to indulge my dominant side, but I've never put anybody on a retainer. I might if I was millionaire.

Also, what Kat said, esppecially the bit about a leather belt, as well she knows. ;)

Mmmmm...I crave your belt and the marks it leaves on my tender bottom. More, next time, SIR!

If you wanna read Twilight fanfic, there's better stuff out there.

I browsed Fifty Shades of Grey at Barnes & Noble and put it down unimpressed after a few minutes. (Sorry, author, but no orgasms. LOL)

Maybe hobby life makes Fifty Shades pale by comparison ... fantasy on the printed page, versus fantasy made real on the soft bed.
