and I am convinced that the lady in question had a failed attempt to be clever and witty.  To allow this thread to continue would be mean spirited toward all.

Levon1700 felt upset with a joke that missed the mark.....the lady in question is heartbroken that that her attempts at humor caused someone pain.  I can see both sides of the story.

PS - In my personal life, I always have someone else proofread my correspondence .... I do that to make sure some innocent comment can not be misconstrued.... I still screw up all of the time.  BE WELL ALL.
