Forgive me for complaining/preaching to the choir here, but I've been noticing the market here in Boston is not the best.
Rates tend to be very high with poor selection here compared to other cities. Not to say that there aren't great options here, but I have noticed when traveling to other cities that I have a much better time finding a very nice experience at a reasonable rate. I've also stumbled across a good amount of mediocre experiences in the Boston area (and typically at a premium).

I'm starting to feel like its a better move to avoid spending here and use that to travel somewhere with a better selection. Or perhaps only see particularly eye catching visitors.

Look at Boston International

In looking at local hobbyist reviews, it's remarkable how their scores for locals are consistently lower than those they visit while traveling.  

Seems the Boston market is roughly decided into:
Slim but expensive indies (700 min, more often 800-1,000+)
Curvy+ or older indies (500-600 typically)
Bargain basement (aka STG)
Agencies / K girls are more affordable but have become more risky due to busts.

Further limited by deposit requirements or send scammy, both obviously to be avoided.  

Only option seems to hunt for those rare gems who visit regularly, are reasonably priced (400-600), and decent looking. If you find one or two, you stick with who you know.

Sometimes you can find a good experience through there. Lots of bots/scams to wade through though.

The market is the market, in the USA a condos cost will vary according to demand.  Also independent gals cost more than agencies everywhere.  In Boston there are a lot more independent gals.  

I travel to NYC a lot and look for independent gals there, and like condo prices they are 25% higher than Boston. You do find many more K girl agency options in NYC, whose prices are lower.  

And just my opinion, but to say "all the gals in London perform worst than all the gals San Francisco"...well, statistically that will never happen. If you take a good size sample you will get the exact same distribution anywhere.  I read TER carefully and have a very high  rate of great experiences everywhere.
