I have been told, I'm not there to check out the room

Incalls are my preference. Provider is more comfortable in her "home" turf, more personable, and typically less risk with LE for both. Provider doesn't have to spend her money on a hotel. Plusses all around. The pluses of hotels to me are immaterial in the relative scheme of things. I'm not visiting for the ambiance, view, or big bed....I'm visiting for an enjoyable time with a beautiful woman! That's all the ambiance I care about. Just my two cents.

Okay so I can take an outcall as a 50/50 good/bad situation.  Preferably I love both though having my own incall location keeps me safe and happy for my client. What do you guys and girls think?

BAD:
1. It's always a risk seeing a client in a hotel
2. There tend to be undercover and regular cops around or in a hotel (especially NEW YORK!)
3. The ambience in a hotel sucks unless there are dimmers or you have fabrics to cover bright lights
4. If you don't bring your iPod the music you get may just be static radio - yuck!
5. God forbid you have to watch the spectra vision TV Sex movies with HD  with shitty music and fake O's

GOOD:
1. Room Service
2. Great BIG Beds
3. Awesome Views
4. SUITES
5. iPod Radio Cradle to play your own
6. High end Hotels!

Downtown hotels are almost always busy and you can grab a drink before playing and another to recover lol. Of course rush hour traffic is a pain!!

Hotels in the suburbs have much more room, but are almost dead after late afternoon making it obvious If  non hotel guests are coming in and out.
Incalls reduce a lot of the worry you might have with hotels and possie LE.  But if the incall does not have heavy foot traffic nosy neighbors can be worse than LE ;) or you get a nutcase for a client knowing your place of work..That is not fun for all

but at an apartment building, the presence of men coming and going all the time can be a tip off to the neighbors of what is going on, and makes me feel a bit creeped out when ever I see them.

Hotels are fine, but sometimes a bit impersonal.

For good ambient lighting, take a short string of Christmas lights and drape them over the headboard.  They work great.

The problem that I see is that providers stay too long and don't bring their own supply of clean towels for clients to use. Any hotel stay over 3 days in this business is adding risk. Having piles of used towels for cleaning to pick up sets off red flags. Several providers write about how they tip cleaning staff to keep them silent, but people talk and that information gets back. I would love to see providers bringing enough clean towels to provide one towel for every client they plan on seeing. A clean garbage bag to put ringed out and folded towels in after they are used allows them to be placed in luggage that can be secured and taken for cleaning when all of the provider's business is completed.

I've come to enjoy the hotel ambiance. It used to make me nervous but now I enjoy the feeling of an escape, of having my own little tryst. When I am in my hometown I have very little availability as I have work outside this industry so when I travel I often feel it's a bit of a break for myself as well. The hotel gives me a much needed mental break from the day to day of my 'real work' and I enjoy taking my time to put some music on, set up some candles and arrange the room "just so".

I've had an incall before but it felt more like work, all the little things that you have to do add up quickly having housekeeping and a restaurant nearby obviously makes life easier. I also find being out of your own environment adds to that date atmosphere and makes me look forward to that knock on the door.

Definitely important that you feel comfortable as well and maximize your experience and pleasure! Well stated. Not that it changes my own personal preference for a personal incall, but obviously that can't be done with visiting providers, unless they choose an apartment/suite type facility offered by several chains where each unit has its own external entrance, which doesn't require hobbyists to pass through a common central lobby and walk down long corridors of rooms to get to the provider's location, and where it's not as likely that housekeeping staff can keep an eye on frequency of visitors. Just my two cents!

...obviously I have my own place which is my 'den' to speak - a NYC slab of life that makes it homey and comforting for me and my select clients. I am not a fan of outcall hotels because truly it makes me 'out of the zone' so to speak whereas my domain has everything I need - music, lighting, ambience, food, drink, you name it. Luckily for me my apartment is in a walk-up, pre-war building with limited suites. I very rarely see anyone in the halls or building. I have only one neighbour next to me who is a gay 21 yr old who barely lives in his apartment. I do get that some apartment buildings have front desk staff, elevators, 10 apartments on one floor etc..but to be honest, I am more of a quality companion rather than a quantity one so it works out for me.....;)

Hotels are great when I tour though because I go to ones I have frequented and they know me. Being personable and friendly is always a charm (!) I have my own company so I use my business credit card and voila! I am in. I don't fret when I am in a hotel I know and feel comfortable with while touring. In fact, I love to get out of NYC here and there and adventure to other cities! I feel like a real voyageur! ;)

Safe travels wherever you go! The most important thing to me is to stay positive, optimistic and well, 'on the ball' when it comes to either incall or outcall.  Make your experience yours!

You summed it right there. Excellent statement. Im becoming to love hotels, well the nice ones anyway. If you are personable, smile and friendly, ladies will no problems. You are right on the money with that response. I bring my own towels, candles for setting the mood, and also bring my own towels, so I won't to bug housekeeping. Also tipping housekeeping helps.

I have an Incall back home, I haven't had any problems, guys are comfortable and love being in my own private bubble verse the hotels and possible watching eyes. However since Ive been on the road for so long, Im thinking I will just get a hotel room from now on. I kinda like a lot.
