You can enroll with TER without ever giving your real name. You just set up an email and use any name you like, and you're good. I suppose the CIA or someone, if they wanted to, could hack TER server's find your email, find out what IP address you set the email up from, and trace it to you, but do they really care?
As for providers' websites, I suppose those are vulnerable, but I really don't see Anonymous going after them.
Not too long ago I had the pleasure of becoming very close to a gent. After we parted ways I Googled him in hopes of finding pics of him in his younger days or perhaps a YouTube video of a sport he used to partake in. Didn't hit the jackpot lol but I did find some way more personal and potentially dangerous info if found by the wrong chick. That's freaking scary and I promise you that I will never tell another fella what my last name is.
