Clients must know that when they use the services of an agency the provider they see is receiving a percentage of the donation the client gifts.
On a $300 call, the provider will likely receive $180.
Some of these young ladies at services are exceptional, if a client can afford to tip then I would agree that he should, even if it is only a very small gesture. Having worked for several services early on I can say that it really means a lot to the girl and makes her eager for your return because you've treated her especially kind.
With an independent? Yes, we have advertising costs that service girls don't, no our business isn't as guaranteed as that as a large service with a pool of many clients, yes we do have costs associated with screening, no we don't receive allowances for our incall / travel like some agency girls do-
But everything we are given belongs to us.
When clients tip me excessively it almost feels obscene. I take it and I like it (LOL) but its truly unnecessary to me unless the appointment is totally ridiculous out-of-control good or I've put myself out in some way (i.e. a very long drive, very late night or very early morning. If someone books an appointment with me at zero dark thirty, no, I do not say "you shouldn't have, I can't take this"- those tips go right in my purse guilt-free lol).
Overall I think that if a companion has above-average rates tipping isn't necessary...but if she works for an agency or has below-average rates (and above average service) it is a very nice gesture that will ensure a special relationship with her.
