where is the best place to stay in terms of easy parking and easy access? Also I know Boston is very walkable so I was wondering what places are a must see for a girl who's planning to make a stop in Boston.
I don't know the answer to this: Do any of the suburban hotels still run free shuttle buses to downtown Boston and the airport? That would make a suburban stay a little easier for someone wanting to spend time downtown. Assuming you'll rule out the 'burbs for now, Back Bay (big yellow area on the map) is one of the most popular and convenient places to stay. Lots of hotels, lots of tourist attractions, convenient to MORE tourist attractions, lots of public transit, lots of parking garages (but not cheap). Copley (or Copley Square) is a smaller area inside the Back Bay area and is prime. Others can comment on the other "named" neighborhoods that are convenient or to be avoided completely. Must you travel by car (lots of stuff; other business or site seeing). Amtrak from Penn Station to Back Bay Station is super convenient. You can walk to a few hotels from Back Bay Station faster and easier than taking a cab ... if you're not traveling with more than two suitcases

If planning a visit, you'll have more than just competition between the sheets. You'll have competition FINDING sheets! (I think Metro Boston has around 25,000 hotel rooms.) There are over 100 colleges and universities in Metro Boston and they all want the parents to come for the graduation ceremonies spread over May-June. Ask locals about sporting events schedules (Boston is a BIG sports town). Also check the MCCA Events Calendar for both hotel squeezes and potential horny conventioneers.
