Then I brought double credit card charge to there attention they called my place of business and were less then discreet. This let the cat out of the bag and now my co-workers know my secret. I used to think these guys were cool, not anymore.

M.A.T.

My sympathies.  However, I believe that using a credit card compounds the risk substantially.  (I hope it wasn't a copmanby card.) Records being kept by the provider are risky enough, though without corroboration, they are merely suggestive.

CC are worse.  They have your signature.  So, companies, spouses, divorce lawyers, the IRS, judges, etc. all can see what you signed to do.

Yep, you can claim that people stole your CC#.  But it's a story you cannot use often.  Cash, M.O., or gift certs are the way to go in my book.

did they take care of the charge, any problems with them after you brought it to there attention?

I know and the competitor that wrote this knows this never happened. Why else would you post it on so many boards. If this would have been true I think this person would have called us to tell us we made a mistake and we would have taken care of it. The competitor who is doing this is also stacking our appointments with "no shows" we know this because more than one client has called us and told us that he was propositioned to make an appt. with one of our girls and told not to show up. We also know they have shills that occasionally post bad reviews of our girls even though they have never seen them. Not to mention several other very underhanded tactics. There is enough business for all of us. This kind of behavior is very childish, I wish you would grow up. Our clients who know us and use us regularly know this isn't true. You know who you are and we have never done anything to you to deserve this kind of treatment.
Lets put an end to this once and for all.  We all have enough things to worry about nowadays. We should be supporting each other and helping each other, not slanderous and hurtful tactics.

That is horrible what is happening to you. Unfortunatly it seems that so many are out for themselves and just don't do things the right way. There is just way too much business for all of us to have to start this type of crap. If someone is that starving for business, maybe we should look to see who is suffering in such a prosperous city. Is there anyone getting any major silicitation from an agency. Maybe even discounts involved? (Signs of starvation)

This is a very important matter. Even though WE all know and respect her agency does not mean a lurker might read such alligatations and reviews and take it to heart.

Why I am responding? I know how she feels. I have a guy with a Vedetta whom I have never seen, who is posting false reviews about me too. NOT NICE at ALL!

We should all be working togethor! I feel horrible for what your ladies must be going through. No one deserves this. But I tell you, I have only heard great things about you, and we share many of the same cliental whom adore your agency. If I know that you guys are a good, DISCRETE agency, than I know many others do too. I hope this has not effected your business too badly. And I hope maybe some of the guys on the board might be able to look out for some strange and desperate forms of advertising.

Good luck to you.

Let's take a closer look at this message, which was supposedly posted to warn us all about doing business with Miami Companions...

"Then I brought double credit card charge to there attention they called my place of business and were less then discreet. This let the cat out of the bag and now my co-workers know my secret. I used to think these guys were cool, not anymore."

Forget about the run-on first sentence; forget that it should be "their" instead of "there." So sir, what did MC say on the phone to your place of business that was "less than discreet?" And how would that phone call inable your co-workers to know all your secrets? And what was MC's response to the alleged double credit card billing?

For 2 reasons, there is not a doubt in my mind this is a false posting. (1) It just doesn't make any sense from the posters stand point. (2) MC has a very successful, well run, long-time-in-existence business. They have no need to double charge a client. MC is the most discreet agency I have dealt with in 12 years. This smells of a younger agency with a primary goal of harming MC rather than building its own business.

The shill game appears to be alive and well in Southern Florida.

But perhaps that's one of the biggest problems with unedited, public posting boards. Guilty until proven innocent...
