Where to begin?  Most of your questions have no simple answer.  Plenty of people go on binges with all kinds of things that are pleasurable - eating, drinking, shopping, sex.  If their wallet allowed it, plenty more would like to.  Whether you are "too hooked" on escorts depends on your individual circumstances and motivations.  You are not likely to get good psychological or financial advice on an Internet board.

Once you are over your "Wow, lots of pretty girls will fuck me for money!" phase, I predict that you will settle into a level of hobbying that works for you long-term.

Dr., with that much frequency you are going to have some hits and misses, even with TER research.  Not to play Jr. Shrink, but I would think it would be difficult to click with that many ladies.  I have been with some who had 8s and 9s for service that I would have given a 5 or 6. We simply didn't click.  I usually do not write negative reviews.  And I can only afford 1-2 appointments per month.  What do you do for a living?  Physician?  What specialty?

In the past I have those urges to splurge, spend like $3,000/month. But then I cut back down/take a break (for a few months) to $500-$1000/month to make sure that I don't overspend.

I got way more feedback than I expected including some PM!  I think the synopsis of everyone's experience leads me to believe that higher cost does NOT equal higher quality or better service.  The hobby is not simply like going to Ruth Chris vs Ruby Tuesday for the steaks.  In the hobby the consensus seems to be that the services and quality at Ruby Tuesday is likely to be just as fine as that at Ruth Chris if you choose carefully.  I was also cautioned not to be too glutenous or I might get bored and drop out.  Tanks for the feedback - I think for the near term I will limit myself to the more cost effective ladies with excellent GFE service and stick to 1/2 times per week.  Thanks for the PM's and suggestions there as well!
