For better or worse, I have been at the hobby game for quite a long time-very first transactional experience was 1994. Seems like these days there is an ocean of profiles of ladies with no reviews, no verifiable or discernable escort/provider experience, and pictures that are suspect, in the most charitable light. Oh, and the rates for $600/700/800 and up.

I understand-ladies can charge what they want, they aren't required to have reviews, and this is all free-well and personal choice. That's fine, but the market is now saturated with these profiles. And I'm wondering if somehow the hobbyists are enabling and condoning this practice. Let me be clear-a lady can charge whatever she wants-it's what the market will bear. But this has become a guessing game and a fool's errand. I can't imagine dropping six or seven hundred dollars on a lady with no reviews and no legit presence. How do we know it's not a "profile" from some guy sitting in front of his computer in Burma? I realize that with Covid, people are trying to be creative with how they make money, and are shunning traditional jobs-and I totally get that. But I think hobbying, and this industry in general, has really suffered as a result. This isn't that much fun anymore.

TER reviews are dropping off for various reasons (less active members, "no review" policies, anger from providers, etc)

P411 is drying up (new providers don't even know it exists)

Younger providers moving to sugar dating

Older providers are retiring, specially for local providers (some moving more to touring)

New sources of income (eg only fans, etc)

Deposits are becoming standard operating procedure

Inflation and wealth gap means prices remain high and hobby increasingly becomes a rich man's game

Indeed this is less fun and more work to find the hidden gems and UTRs than ever before.

New women charging $600.00+ with no reviews is not the road I want to go down. BI is reliable but it’s difficult to communicate with them without a translator app.

Over the past 4 years this industry is not like it was.  I love it when some of these girls advertise $600 to $700 and say they are GFE provider.  It is getting to the point where I am thinking about stepping away from this hobby and might look at other options such as Costa Rica.  Where you can get more bang for your buck!!!

When I started in 2004 there were plenty of agencies.  RSG was my initiation to hobbyland.  They frequented a hotel about 10 minutes from my home, and it was always like renting a fucktoy for 200 or 125HH.  I would call to find out who was available and be in the room in less than an hour.  Lot's of great memories there.

A few years later I was mostly with Eastern Companions for 300.  I even did some quality control for them at half price.  Checking out new hires who were mostly “young, dumb, and full of cum”...by the time I was done.  There were plenty of other good 300 agencies: Visiting Girlfriends, Miami Companions, The Bella Donna, to name a few.

Most agencies vanished with FOSTA/SESTA.  There are two out of Russia still around, but I don't call so much anymore.  I've slowed down the last few years and just looking for BBBJ now.  There are good indi's around who don't advertise much because they have enough “regulars”.  I have a few favorites and still get grandfathered rates.

It is still possible to have a good time for 300.  My $0.02: When you find one you like, become a regular.  As Sonny of VG used to say: stick with who you know.

I guess you found the glitch in the Matrix, DT, because at a loss to find these good time options for $300. It sounds like you are resourceful, thorough, and do your homework. it didn't use to be this hard. You could check out some ads, read some reviews, and have a reasonable sense of what kind of experience it would be (as long as you were clean, respectful, etc.). Everything, everywhere, ends. it's hard to believe that with OnlyFans and other options, the hobby will survive in any meaningful, recognizable way.

You are so right.  Recently there was a provider  (Peyton Spencer) that was clearly a bait and switch and I fucking walked out.  Think guys should start calling them out.  

Hobbyland was at its peak since my start in 2004 until 2008.  The internet was fairly new, there was lots of money going around and everyone was happy.  The girls earned as much as they wanted and guys had plenty of money to spend...so it seemed.  Was that the housing bubble burst, 2008?  I always enjoyed doing my homework, reading other's reviews was a pleasure not a burden.  I was able to find exactly what I wanted which was almost always simply a good throatfuck with a nice round ass to look at  .  Things slowed down after 2008 and things dried up totally for a while after FOSTA/SESTA.

These days I find new girls by referral, but mostly stick with my repeat favorites.  It's easy to gauge a girl's qualities by her Twitter if she posts there.  I don't look for FS anymore, just BBBJ with some HJ mixed in for variety.  Now I just sit/lay back and let the girl do the work.  I do my part by arriving freshly showered, chat a bit before her mouth gets busy, then finish any remaining time with pleasant/supportive conversation.

I'm not sure what "free money" people are still receiving. At first I thought it was the stimulus money, both the providers and consumers had more cash, I never received this or other "assistance" that Joe Potato is handing out so I don't know if this is still occurring. All this extra money causes some providers (and employees of any industry) to not hustle as much and the guy who was pulling in 30k a year is now making more than he was working and also has free time and boredom and doesn't value the free money he has and contracts with the providers, increasing demand. Plus, a lot of ladies are making bank on Onlyfans. 100 guys spending $20 a month is a ton of money that a provider now doesn't have to do the in-person thing to cover, so they can raise their rates and reduce their quantity of meetings and still be in the same financial shape as before. This influences the entire market, even for the ones who don't do the online thing.

The amount of Covid money flowing into the Medical Industry (Drs, Nurses, Researchers, Hazard Pay, Administrators) is way up. Same deal there.

With the Elitist New-World-Order types pushing the narrative that what is basic biology and ingrained instincts (Having a family, men providing for and taking care of a woman and creating families), today's millennial women have been programmed to think of traditional relationships as bad, and white, strait guys are absolutely the enemy, "The Patriarchy". They are more often hooking up with AAs or other women. So the soy bois in their 20's can't get a date within their age group (or at all)and they jumped into the hobby, fueled by the promise of free money, student-loan forgiveness (which isn't happening, sorry) and an entry-level position that pays more than it did a year ago due to the labor shortage. More demand. And I wouldn't put it past the Soros crew to be injecting artificial money into the hobby for the sole purpose of further screwing up the old normal.  

It is all falling apart now, and I am hopeful that the Canadian Trucker protest will open the border for us unvaxxed anti-science bigots where the rates in Montreal are 1/2 that of the US. It will work itself out. As one commenter stated: this isn't fun anymore, remember that guys, even if you are like me and saved all of that money we used to spend in this hobby (2 years worth is a lot, and I can honestly pick any provider and be able to afford it without putting myself in hardship, even bi-weekly or monthly), the fact that the rates doubled in 18 months wouldn't even allow me to enjoy a visit, because I am not a cuck. Hold the line. We just want this, and our economy, the rule of law, and the overall state of our country to return to a reasonable place, close to before Obama started this socialist indoctrination and Biden is a puppet for the elites who are trying to put the nail in the coffin of free-markets and the middle class.  

Hold the line - find alternatives, don't subscribe to these Onlyfans sites, and I assume there is a lot of hobby money sitting on the sidelines. I would need to make $400k a year to enjoy the hobby like I did two years ago. Honestly, any guy who drops $1000 an hour where it used to be $300 two years ago is pathetic or has a legitimate issue similar to alcoholism or a gambling addiction.

Eastern Companions was one of my favorite agencies, and the women who ran it was excellent.  It disappeared when one of her employees (a former escort) turned on her and she had to leave town for the safety of her family.

I also had some good experiences with RSG and a few other agencies, but these days the only ones seem to be national in their scope.  Sonny of VG was also a good manager who treated his women and clients well.  The only local one that is usually worth checking out these days is Boston Top Ten.

The past several years has seen major price increases in many women, particularly those who post on P411, and they are well past my "price for pleasure" threshold.  Eros has mostly gone down the tubes, as you can't trust many of their postings.
