That would be quite the bummer.

I don't think a hotel could legally refuse to rent a room to women by herself. However, the hotel could give that room greater scrutiny to watch for heavy traffic or other suspicious activity. Personally, I've never felt comfortable in a hotel setting where she is hosting despite only having one bad experience with hotel staff. But one was enough for me. I prefer going to her residence or she coming to me.

Or to scrutinize excess room activities or towel usage. Might also worry travelers about coming to Massachusetts.

The hotel chains involved are  Wyndham, Choice Hotels, Intercontinental, Red Roof, and Extended Stay.

 
The more concerning factor is that the woman is being supported by a non-profit outfit in Worcester called the Safe Exit Initiative, so she's got some clout there.

 
In addition, the hotel chains have sought to have the case dismissed, but a judge is allowing it to proceed, so that hurtle is cleared.

 
As for evidence, that is a lot less clear.    The plaintive is saying that the hotels should know as a result of condoms in the trash (Which is just plain careless on the part of the gal) and things like the number of towels used, etc.   She says she was propositioned by one staff member but then says that staff member was trying to get her to escape from her traffickers.    She says he should have called the cops.   In one event a John pulled a gun on her and tried to rob her, and the hotel never contacted the police.

 
Her pimps have already been caught and are in jail for various crimes.   One wonders if they will testify in order to get their sentences shortened.   This being a civil suit however, I'm not sure things work that way.

 
All I can say is for guys and escorts to avoid these hotel chains for now, especially in Worcester and Westboro, the other town mentioned prominently in the article.

 
The article also points out that a hotel chain in Atlanta GA was sued and ended up paying out about $40 million.

Oh I remember this Audra Doody. Fellow hobbyist (went by Gianni Versace, anyone remembers?) recommended her to me once years ago. I never ended up pulling the trigger on her but somehow was always in on her whatabouts.  
I think she's originally from Tauton, then moved to Boston close to famous/infamous NMS, worked the streets, backpage, etc. Then at some point I read that she moved to Worcester and somehow hooked up with some "save the ho" women organization.  

In fact I even remember mentioning few times to Angel from Allston that she got to try to get in touch with this Audra if she was serious about transitioning out of hoing.
