First off let me start by apologizing to the poster about this experience, I understand that when something is set in advance, you gentlemen expect it to go through and most of the time it does. Recently however, Cameron had a MAJOR problem.
Cameron lives in an area with little or no cell phone service. She normally calls when she gets close to Boston she lives an hour and a half away. We had not heard from her so we assumed everything was fine until it got close to the start of her day. We did get a call from her, about two hours after she normally gets to Boston, which was upsetting to say the least. She was crying into the phone, panicking and could not speak, then we lost the connection.
At this point, we were VERY concerned. I tried non stop to call and contact her to no avail, I had no idea what was going on. About an hour later, late morning, she finally called back and informed us that her home was vandalized, she was assaulted, and her Jeep was stolen by a family friend. At that point the rest of my day consisted of getting her to a safe place, my home, and going over what she needs to do next to ensure that this asshole keeps his distance and can not hurt her again.
It is unfortunate that the appointment was missed and you wasted your time driving here, but I am also sure that the phone op informed you that we would make this right by you, as is our practice. Her safety and well being became my only priory. We did not divulge this info to her appointments we had to cancel instead we informed them that she was involved in a car accident, as it is her personal business, but it is now necessary to explain what happened.
We do have a strong belief in customer service, as many on this and the other board will tell you. It is unfortunate that you do not hear about every time something goes off as planned, only the negative. Which, I am saddened to hear, happened to you twice.
To address the issue of your concern about ladies sharing rooms and stacking the appointments like cord wood, the ladies sharing rooms actually has the opposite effect.
At times when rooms downtown are at a premium, like this week, some of the ladies ELECT to share a room to offset the cost of the hotel so they do not have to work like a dog to turn a profit. A room that is costing over 250+ a night shared between them is a big difference. The ladies to not feel the pressure to take as many appointments as they can get, to pay for the room. We ALWAYS leave at least a half hour in between appointments so a lady can fully freshen up in between, or the lady she is sharing the room with has plenty of time to get ready for her appointment.
Now if someone is late getting to an appointment, such as the gentleman whom recently reviewed Jaqui who was a half hour late getting to the hotel, we let them know if there is going to be a problem with the time or not, and ask them if they want to keep the appointment or not, letting them know that the time may be cut short.
It is not common practice to share a room, only when rooms are at a premium, or if one lady is only available during the day and the other at night, or if two ladies request it.
Again, I apologize to the gentlemen that had appointments cancelled with Cameron, and I now hope you understand why.
