Hello all,

As of 5 minutes ago I received a PM from the upper tier that this site will no longer have moderators. As I've received emails from other mods who signed in this morning only to find out they can't log in.....I'm assuming this is on every single board.

I'd like to sincerely thank every single member and participant of this board. Yes...even the ones who don't care for me, or the way I did things.

It is, afterall, the participants of a board that make it what it is. All of you have made this a vibrant, fun board.....and I hope you continue to do so.

It's a dirty job (or at least it was) but someone had to do it!

DD, you have done an admirable job here in Boston. You have stepped in when needed, but otherwise remained silent.  I am certain that the time you have spent moderating here is more than others have imagined and it can be a thankless job. Thank you!

So it appears that this board is going to the Host/Hostess format, a-la Atlanta board. This could be interesting.

Who is going to control the insanity, the shills, and the mean spirited people often found on this board.  I can't imagine this board surviving with such a free for all policy.

I've only been participating on the discussion boards for a relatively short time, but felt that you did a great job.....moderating "with moderation". Best of luck, hope to see you on the hobbying side of things!

I think it would've been nice if you guys had been briefed of this in advance, but I don't run the world (and it's a GOOD FUCKING THING!). Happy travels!
