I want to thank TER for accepting me as a contributor to this board after I was barred from TBD.Now that BD13 was arrested,I can give you all some insight as to what happened.I can´t tell the TBD people because I am not allowed to post there.First,it was me who recognized his picture on the news.I called my friend St Bart and he agreed.I also had a call from another well known poster who said the same thing.I was then involved with an agency owner in Florida with trying to help find whoever was doing these armed robberies.She was already working with the Boston police and had me call the detective with my beliefs.
  There is a post on TBD discussing what BD13 did or didn´t do to me.I was barred from posting without an explanation from anyone,because ¨someone or group of people¨accused me of receiving freebies for positive reviews. I asked to powers that be to look at all my postings and see if ANYONE had EVER disputed ANY of my reviews.They didn´t bother and proceded to bar me.I since found out with the help of some well known posters who are friends,that BD13 concocted the whole thing in collaboration with a Florida agency because for some strange reason he was jealous that I was getting so well known.Thanks for allowing me to be heard.

that I was so quick to believe that you were guilty of the kind of behavior attributed to you. If I had known it was BD13 behind it I would have known better from the git-go. As a matter of fact, I tended to believe what I heard because I thought you and Huboo were his bosom buddies. I wasn't privy to intercine rivalries. Live and learn. My only caveat is that Ma-Ling, if I read her post correctly, publicly confirmed that she gave you a break for good reviews. I think it is inevitable that that sort of thing happens in the real world, but it is really dumb to publicly acknowledge it.

There is a campaign to have you reinstated and I would like to encourage many to write to the powers that be on "the other board" to plead your case.

It is unfortunate that sometimes the people with the purest intentions seem to get the short end of the stick.  Still the truth always prevails.  Hang in there.  There are many supporting you!

As for you, Bob, hang in there.  I would hope that your participation is once again accepted elsewhere, but I think you will find that the "community" here on ter is generally upbeat, helpful, funny, and advantageous to all.  There is less spam here, and the reviews are thorough and reliable.  Your contributions will be appreciated.

But I do agree with your comments about the TER community.  It is much more receptive and down to earth, IMHO.

Dear Bob of LV - Those with whom you've communicated off and on never doubted your integrity. You helped me a great deal re Boston and Eastern Canada, out of pure generosity and humor.
Anyone with 10% of a brain knows that TBD had serious criminality problems, and got temporarily lucky in Florida, because the Florida authorities were incompetent beyond belief, as was TBD. The State guys could not count the speedy trial days and were trying to cover up for higher ups - bjs are everywhere in the Florida regime. Florida sucks in more ways than heat and humidity. No one has ever accused Florida of excess mental prowess or judicial wisdom.
The many crimes of TBD, state and federal, were easily provable by most chimp-lawyers, even casual doc observers who think they know enough law to be dangerous. The Boston-Kittery guy was a TBD pal and clone. What else could you expect.


TBD will be seeing federal indictments as soon as the terrorism pressure is off. Betcha a ton of poon.

VB is one of the nicest, genuine guys I have met since entering this business, he is as authentic and real as you get.I said this on the other borad and I will say it here!
I call him for the weather, I call him sometimes just to shoot the breeze.He is my friend because I CHOOSE the the people I deal with on a daily basis. Life is too short to let the good ones in your life get away.

If there is a federal investigation into TBD locally or nationally I would think it would have to hinge on the RICO statute. Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't the promiscuous application of that law been limited by recent court decisions. I think the "Pro Life" folks won a round in court. I always thought prosecuting pro-life demonstrators under RICO was a gross miscarriage of justice and I'm glad to see that injustice redressed. More to the point, I don't think it could be used now against loose collaborations of hobbyists in "back channel groups" even if their activities were demonstratively unethical. They do not constitute a "criminal enterprise" in my mind. Absent the application of RICO, I don't think there is any other legal approach that would be successful. I'm not a lawyer, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. Can anyone speak with authority about this?
