itwas a sad one, my best friend one my bestest buddies, passed so i had to spend afternoon hysterical at my friends wake, I had a nice evening after and made dinner for my mum though n she had good time here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,aside from my friend who was only 40 death,,,,,,,,,,,,i did enjoy my mother here for doinner, i gave her a salmon dish i d prepared myself. With coconut milk it was baked curried fish. i used salmon from a local fish market owned by a fireman near by. I made 4 lbs of it doubled recipe! and then havealot it frozen foir easy meals to reheat this month or for compnay. then i gave her a dish of also form fish market tuna, grilled on foreman, no oil. then served chilled with minced celery and dollop mayo. the bway you d eat the canned tuna only this was freshly cooked and chilled, much better than the packaged tuna we usually eat.
          the salmon had fresh vine ripe tomatoes in the curry and tons of medicinal indian spices. coriander curry leaf, garam masale to name few.                i omitted the satuu in oil part n just baked too to make it healthy,
then desert a cupcake with rainbpow jimmies no frosting made with atkins low carb flour,
she was blown away said the salmon was "restaurant quality."      { and my mither took many many cooking classes in north end her opinion on cooking is def a compliment } shes one a the otalian mothers that just can maek anything, home made gnocchi s. or ears she called them home made italian anise cookies, . so she was impressed which made me pretty happy.
i was weak from crying and nerves shot, and maybe that was the saddest mothers day yet for me,
but we enjoyed the evening and carried on and tryed to enjoy best bwe can, my mother alsoknew him and seen alot old frinds mine when she oicked me uo thwy came out o say hi to her, they all remebred my mum. too. shame havn reuinions w old friends in this way for sure,
