I curious why the TER review template requires a phone number. I know providers who prefer to be contacted by e-mail only...and when one does connect with them, they ask that their private number not be given out. I would think that this wish should be respected.
I've also read the explanation before as to why some new reviews stay up with "Report New Website" in the website address field but I'm still confused. I know, in your case, you wrote that the URL was good when you submitted the review.
It certainly seems inconsistent. This whole "bad website" thing leaves me scratching my head in wonder.
I've tried the URL..linking directly from the thread..and, occasionally, it won't open; but it generally does. It is a valid, current URL. Escorts.com is working on the site..and over the past few days, I've been bumped out once in a while moving inside the site, too. "Staff" is either busy, or ignoring the issue.
Thing is...the same 5 or 6 providers (or agencies) get reviewed over and over, and over, and over, and over..it would be useful (for entertainment purposes only, of course) to feature some of the other worthy talent that is here. When I review RS girls..the reviews go up...no problem. BUT..As soon as I submit a review of worthy talent who is not part of the discussion boards, and general site (Gabrielle, and now Alyssia)..they are 'rejected' for seemingly BS reasons. Conspiracy, favoritism??, coersion to get me to pay for a VIP membership??? who knows (or gives a shit???). All I know is that these girls are as good as (or better) than the high profile talent that fills up the discussion boards with their schedules and chatter I also know that the people behind TBD are raking in 10K a week with their cheesy 'memberships'...this site probably isn't far behind?!?!
I don't believe that TER is conspiring with any agency or independents. But I think jjm does make some valid points here.I noticed that Gabrielle had another review after jjm and it did not go to the top of the board. As a former governor of the commonwealth would say 'something doesn't pass the smell test'. I'm also perplexed by this bad website thing.Every time you try and correct one it is just ignored.Another thing I'm noticing lately is some of the agency gals are getting 8&9's when they really should be a 7.I'm not saying the reviewers didn't rate them that way,but it is my understanding they are suppose to adjust these.IMO it is just not fair to the ladies who do deserve these ratings.Like I said,I don't beleive there is anything nefarious going on,but it is sure does look like favoritism to me.
P.S.to thirsty,I am directing this to TER staff only.As you are aware, I find you to be an honerable gentleman.
P.S.to jjm, assuming that someone is clean and well groomed, does Gabrielle like to kiss. There is no mention of this in her reviews.
"Another thing I'm noticing lately is some of the agency gals are getting 8&9's when they really should be a 7."
I agree that this is frustrating. It starts when the reviewer over-rates a performance. I know whenever I see a "10" rating on performance, I really take a look at the lady's other reviews to see if this is at all consistant. I had 3 PR's approved that adjusted "10" ratings down to "8's." After all, this isn't the Olympics, "10's" should be earned!
#7 in the TER Guidelines for Submitting Reviews:
"In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only earn up to a 7, unless she also performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise her score by one point. If your review doesn’t already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it."
Yes, the "'review' reviewers" should catch it but the system isn't perfect. It's one of those situations where we only see when the "'review' reviewers" screw up. Maybe they miss a lot of these, maybe they catch a lot more than they miss. I don't know. I think that the emphasis is placed on getting new reviews approved and posted ASAP. That's why TER offers free VIP time when you submit an approved Problem Report. Yes, I know that PR's are sometimes rejected...that's happened to me more than once. When I know I'm right, I re-submit the PR until somebody who "has a clue" reads it!
Here's is a link to the Review Guidelines. I know it's redundant but I'm going to re-post the guidelines as a new thread as well. You guys have made great points. IMHO, I think it's more sloppy than suspicious.
