TER: Please fix these problems

1. Posting to an existing thread seems to bump the entire thread to the top of the page. This policy will cause a lot of problems for the readers.  Imagine if post is made to a thread that is 5 years old. Suddenly that thread will appear at the top of the page and confuse most readers.  Please bring back the old policy of listing threads by date and time.

2. Please provide an “expand/collapse” button for each thread so that posts under each thread can be viewed without having to navigate the first post of the thread. This will be a great time saver!

How providers could use this to their benefit for ad posting. . . simply post something under their ad to always have it at the top! Lol. Yes kk027 this is surely a problem. . hopefully it will be revised.

I am using Opera - the navigation buttons appear on top of each other - in particular the buttons for discussion boards.  Its like a dog chasing its tail.

Uhh welcome to the internet.  That is how every other msg board on the planet works and how it should work.  That way you don't have to go searching page after page for new posts.

Totally not true!  You are confusing boards that list posts such as Yahoo! message boards vs. those that list threads such as TER. It makes no sense to have the threads bumped up to the top every time somebody posts under that thread!  You will have threads showing up months and years after they were started.

Also, as it currently stands, providers and agencies can easily misuse/abuse this policy by posting inconsequential messages to their original threads and have them appear on the top of the first page forever!
