...but if one person can learn from my mistakes then my embarrassment is not completely wasted.

I booked an appointment with 2 providers on Monday.  The website I went through required one week's notice and a deposit.  That should probably have been my first red flag.  I traded e-mails and spoke on the phone and everything seemed to be going ok.  Well, today is the day, it's less than 1 hour for the appointment and I haven't heard anything back re: the precise location. :(  The last I heard was a mail on Tuesday saying that the address was forthcoming.  Since then I have sent many more e-mails and left a few voicemails too.  Nothing back.  Maybe I will get a call in the next, hmmm, 42 minutes but I don't think so.  So I've been ripped off in the extreme and there is nothing I can do about it...other than lick my wounds and take better care next time.

is the place I used, anybody heard of them before?  I didn't find anything negative about them (I did a little due diligence, just not enough!)

I know that I have been extremely stupid but I thought I was above being duped.  Lesson learned the hard way I guess.  I was sure that if there was anything bad about this agency or website that I would have seen something somewhere but nada.

Bumming big time. :(

Oh yeah, if I DO hear something back in the next 37mins it is now, I will come back and edit this post.  But I am thinking that ship has sailed...

You really need to do your homework. A reputable service will never make you pay a deposit. first mistake.

When a service has 15+ girls on their site that all look like top models and none of them have any reviews, that is a big clue it is a scam!

You just don't look for bad things, you have to also lokk to see if they have any reputation at all. I never heard of them till your post.

I am sorry this happened to you but you probably saved a few hobbiests in the process.

Thanks, Jill.

It's a bitter pill to swallow and I guess there is a LOT more I need to know before thinking about doing this again....but it's unlikely I will because it's too easy to be conned.  I guess that's not true, you just need to be very careful.  I thought I was but that's my inexperience talking.

If I knew of this site beforehand I would have posted questions, I see other people doing that.

Run a search here for "aa-escorts" going back to the dawn of time.  You'll find plenty of stuff that you'll wish you knew before you sent off your deposit.

Sorry, life sucks sometimes...

Have fun, MG

I will definitely be using this site more before trying anything like this again.

I guess I should publish the other info I have re: this scam.
