I made an appt. with a visiting provider who has gotten excellent reviews. She was floating around the New England area and we had been exchanging emails for about 2 weeks trying to get her set up in a hotel in CT. She supposedly found a hotel and emailed to let me know where and we set up an appt. The morning of the appt. I called to confirm, no answer, I left a message. No return call, I continued to call her throughout the day, no answer. I emailed her and still no reply. Is this a common occurence with visiting providers?

Did you ever stop to think that she had an encounter with LE?

you have to remember, these are real people...with real lives!

There could be many good reasons...and if you were dealing with a true professional, an explaination will be forthcoming.

But if your confirmed appointment was passed up for a bigger, better deal or some other such nonsense, consider yourself lucky my friend.

Sorry to hear of your disapointment, but there are many lovely options...I hope your next more than makes up for it!

Actually I was just venting. And dissapointed. I get rejected enough by my wife! LOL

I am very patient and try to weigh everything out prior to any conclusions. I am also very understanding when someone has to reschedule. I treat everyone with respect unless they treat me without respect. When visiting with someone I spend a minimum of 2 hours, and, as far as I know, everyone involved thoroughly enjoys the time spent together.

I have considered that possibly something bad may have happened to her,....thus no response. I hope that isn't the case, for her sake.

As far as something better coming up, ..... well that's her loss that she decided to do something else. ;-)

And thanks for the well wishes!

Yes that did cross my mind. I hope not, for her sake.

There are some folks on this board that will tell you it was definitely your fault she did not show, regardless of the circumstances.  Seems a hobbyst can't do anything right and a provider can do no wrong in their minds.  Luckily, that group is very small, although very vocal.

Oh, you will be hounded for days now by idiots that insist that you give everyone the providers name, regardless of how you feel on the subject.  If you don't you will be lambasted for days on end for that indisgression.

This appears to be a common occurance with our out-of-town providers.  Plan for the worse and you won't be disappointed.

Actually, we might want to start doing what the airlines have done and start booking multiple out-of-towners for the same date.  Accept the first one that shows and tell the others they'll have to book another flight!

I bet this post gets the bleeding hearts into a sweat.  I wonder how huboo will figure out I was kidding about overbooking?

Local providers, you are always the best!

Good Luck,
Loarthan

The way I look at it is..these things can happen.  If she gets back in touch and apologizes and asks to re-schedule..fine.  This has happened and later turned out to be a terrific session.  I never even ask for any additional 'compensation'..a good, sensitive provider will offer that (maybe indirectly, though) anyway.  If you don't hear back from her; dump her name. She did you a favor and inadvertently tipped you off that she's probably a scumbag anyway.  Same thing if someone working with an agency offers to hook up directly and go around the agency...if she's ripping off the agency..she'll definitely rip me off, too..one way on another. And... I would probably pay the same...to get ripped off..and it all goes to her??  No thanks

My Opinion: I believe there is no reason if your schedule changes that you cannot be courteous enough to make a phone call.  I believe that some people in this biz forget the rule "the customer comes first."    Loarthan, Thank you for supporting the "locals"

Dollar for dollar, year-in & year-out, local providers in the NH/MA area have better reviews, provide more consistent/pleasant experiences and take care of the hobbysts better than the traveling talent.

Yes, the providers from FL are great.  Yes, the traveling talent is exciting.  What you have to realize (and you will if you look at this board and read the regional reviews) is that the local provides DO take better care of us here in the New England area than other providers do any place else (their regions or the traveling crews).

The reasons for this should be obvious (more talent, higher levels of education/manners, a true concern for the customer, etc).

Right, no one is perfect, but the track-record for the local providers can't be diminished.  This board has alot to do with it, but so do our providers.

Just my opinion & I could be wrong, but
Regards,
Loarthan

PS: Your turn huboo, disagree on this one please (hehehe)

I am just getting back into the hobby, and I travel constantly. So the pleasures of the local providers will be explored again.

I was trying to meet with the traveling provider because I saw that she was (beautiful, had excellent reviews, and was very freindly in emails) in a city that I was going to be visiting, but she was doing a tour at the time that I was going to be there.

She seemed to be very accomadating and was willing to stop in CT for a day or 2 on her way back to her home. I am not out anything as she was booking her own room.

*A note to the local providers, I am hopeful we will meet in due time.

Hi there just checking out your boards:)  I am new at this traveling thing and will only be doing  it every once in awhile.
Now I realize everyone's reasons for traveling are different but I am sure there are lots of great touring girls that come to Boston if you do your homework.
I thought about touring a long time before I did my first tour and it went very well and I accomplished my objectives.  Objectives were...VARIETY:) GOOD guys and no LE!
And man oh man did I get my variety  although everyone was completly differnt each was sexually charged but all 180degrees different from the last. I even got to dabble in things never before venrtured into due to the fact men in my area although mostly wonderful maybe a wee bit aprehensive to travel outside the normality box:)I set up my tour with a few multi hours and some of them came back for seconds on my tour and I liked EVERYONE I saw..now how often does that happen.  I  only hope if I tour again that could be my experience. There really are only a few cities I would want to visit and Boston is /was one of them but should I reconsider due to all the great local talent and maybe bad reputation of traveling ladies?  Because if only yahoos respond to touring girls hmmm then I think I will stay home with the nice men of the twin cities????
Ahh its snowing here in MSP today arg!!!
