There has been discussion of guys canceling and no showing. On the other hand I got stood up twice in the past month. Provided refs, two days in advance, get the okay, confirmed by email, texted the day of. Get to the area no answer on the phone at the time. One called four hours later very apologetic, but with a real bullshit excuse, which I wouldn't have used in grade school. The other, a visitor, I haven't heard from yet and it's been a day. Just saying. Not excusing no shows by guys. It sucks no matter who's doing it.
By not posting their names here, you post in pointless.
Bad behavior, by either a hobbyest or a provider needs to be called out. This is happening to many times and needs to be stopped. Sadly shaming these people looks like the only way to do it.
I know in this community this is not going to be popular, but truth be told, trying to hide this bad behavior does not help anyone. Time and money both by providers and hobbyest are wasted and no one likes that.
I do agreed with LamontCranston69, it had happened to me too many times and I am a provider as well. It costs time and money for us too when they do no show as well. As Clients, they take the time out from work and that have to make an arrangement to take the time off from lunch or whenever to see a provider, plus traffic as well. I am going to give it a shot again near Boston area this week, since I am visiting a friend of mine that is not related in this kind of work. This will be a test for me to see how well they do keep their promise to show up. I am truly sorry that this happens to you, but it does works both ways and you should mention this person here on this board.
I had a morning appt with Alexis Love, you know, the golf and broncos lover, confirmed via email. Day of the appt., norhing. I sent two or three emails to see if everything was alright with her and still have not received a response. Strange. I understand things come up but just communicate.

Exactly. Communicate.
I don't want to put names out because what if the zany excuse #1 gave was true? Pretty unlikely, but what if? I don't know about #2. Something terrible may have happened that made her miss. I don't want to call anyone a liar if I don't know that to be 100% correct. My guess is they both found guys who wanted multiple hours that surrounded my one hour and they decided to put their bank accounts ahead of common courtesy. I'll survive. But it does suck to get horned up and shut down. I put it out there for the ladies to think about because the next guy may be willing to name the gal who dumped him.
Only way to make these people think twice about screwing people over and wasting your, mine, or everyone's time is to put their names out there that they are unreliable.
Being the nice guy does not help anyone in these situations. I have had this happen but not for a long time.
These ladies do not deserve our business if that is how they are going to treat customers. I for one will not book with them if I know who they are and I am sure many others feel the same.
So please post the names. Only way to make them think about doing this is to make them accountable for their actions. Being the nice guy and making excuses or not wanting to hurt them is bull. They did not think that way when they blew you off....
Sorry that happened; don't know why ladies do this~ not good business practice, and would not doubt if that's carried over into their personal life as well. There will be those who will by far make up for the ones who stood you up! Luv, Samantha~
Another provider out of the hundreds out there. And never see that provider again regardless of promised discounts or dreams of make up sex because if you were that bothered by being stood up in the first place it will affect the session and compound the problem. Good luck.
