I ordered one and I am curious to know if anyone has used this on either side of the hobby. It seems like another way to make everyones life easier. I am sure there is a down side to taking plastic. I just don't know what that might be other than a fee on my end. Thanks xo Erin
Ugh I had square & they cancelled my account cause I had too many large deposits, they assumed fraud was happening.. They want you to verify after a certain amount, they asked for tax ID number along with government info... I tried to explain to them I'm a start up, also u can't get ahold of a live person to communicate with... Thank GAWD the last deposit I received & they canceled was from one of my ATFs... I recovered my $$$$ in another form... SQUARE SUCKS!!!!
Recently I got paypal card reader and it's wonderful, you can also invoice clients for deposits if you require deposits (if they don't have a paypal account) or if they have a paypal account they can just send on their end. Also customer service is "On hand" to help. But warning, if you enter their CC number yourself the funds aren't available right away, it may take up to 30 days for them to clear it, that's where invoicing is Great.. You get $$$$ ASAP cuz the client inputs his own CC info & it doesn't throw RED FLAGS on the account..... Hope this helps GC
Gentlemen do not have to provide their credit card information when using Square Cash. Even when gentlemen provide their credit card information, all that is stored in the Square system, that I have access to, is the last four digits of their account number.
I had one issue with Square, and it was my fault. The issue was resolved within the week, and all is well. If I can be of further assistance, please contact me via pm. Warm regards, Kelly
Thanks Gemma, that is a huge help...I will go into my pp account and check into that...I bypassed the tax id for the square for obvious reasons...the last thing I need is irs drama. 😊

What I've heard about square is negative. Bad customer service, updates while you're in the middle of a transaction, causing your phone to freeze up and a few other things that have already been mentioned here. Paypal is probably better, that's what I use with my established friends when they need to make a deposit. I just send an invoice prior to, it's easier that way.
I'd call losing 100% of your money a downside. It just takes one phone call to the credit card company by the cardholder, even if it's weeks or months later and your money gone.
No gentleman in his right mind would use a credit card directly to pay for companionship. Likewise, no companion in her right mind would accept a credit card directly. The only sensible way to pay with (or accept) funds involving a credit card is to do it indirectly. The gold standards are Bitcoin and Simon Mall Giftcards. Both can be purchased with a credit card (most giftcards cannot but Simon Mall Giftcards can). The client is insulated and the provider cannot suffer a chargeback and cannot lose her of money if she immediately drains the card. Bitcoin transaction fees will likely exceed those of a cash advance, but Simon Giftcards are just as anonymous and only cost $3 for each $500 card purchased.
And you can do the same invoicing with that. You pay a little higher rate to manually enter the cc info than a swipe. But if you invoice ahead of time to them and they pay manually online with their card you pay the same as a swipe. Hope this helps
Well I love the Paypal it's easy, you get a MasterCard with it so funds are available right away.. If I want to transfer to bank I can or not, up to me. Also I can manage tax issues if I have it in the future cuz everything is itemized etc... Square cancelled me due to too many deposits.. I would think Me having lots of transactions would be a good thing since both square & I are making money... Lol Hope this help & good luck...
They will shut you down and mess you up-personal bank accounts as well. Stay anonymous. Get a good, verified paypal account and/or use pre-paid gift cards for deposits. Don't put anything on a pp account after normal business hours- say 7pm. Don't use a hobby email. Be careful. Big brother is watching.
