Like many of you I too was worried about Jill. But I am very glad to report she is alive and well. She just thought it was time to hang up, whatever we hang up in this business when we retire, and she felt it was time. Jill i hope you are laying out on some tropical beach drinking a drink out of a coconut and having some hunk rub oil into your skin. You earned it. I will miss you more than you know.

For those that have chosen to be negative and, IMHO, disrespectful...MA is a right to work state, you don't need a reason to quit your job or be terminated from it.  It is what is, no explanations necessary to anyone.

The ladies will pop up as Indys or move to another agency, as has been suggested peruse the Ads board.

All of those who spout the shit about it's none of our business are disregarding the several days of rumor and speculation of a bust, which puckered the assholes of every guy that gave RSG screening info that can now lead to felony charges in Massachusetts.   All of that could have been avoided with a simple announcement upon her exit.

She didn't need to say why, but she could have at least said that she was leaving on her own.

Unfortunately, her exit style has diminished her stature in the local hobby IMHO.

Bitching, moaning, speculating doesn't change or help anything. She did what she did, and for whatever reason she left the way she did, well, she must have had good reason for doing so.  She owed you nothing the second you left the room. Case closed.

The girls will pop up elsewhere and if they don't there are plenty others to choose from.

Move on.

Well said...if she had notified these people she "owed" a reason for her retirement then we would probably be getting a similar amount of Jill bashing in another form I really believe there is no pleasing some people in this hobby and can't imagine how Jill put up with these entitled clientele for as long as she did..

I don't think she owes any of us guys a reason or notice but her girls deserve a little notice. Give them a chance to change agencies, post personal ads. The travel ladies were stuck in town cold turkey, others had travel plans made to visit that are now stuck. Maybe she did give these ladies some warning we will never know? But I think they should have been told something ahead of time.

At that time the travel girls were up on TER the same day.  This was back before there was a separate Ad board...and there weren't so many rules about what can/cannot be posted.

I think the amount of time spent on this topic shows what a HUGE impact Jill had on this hobby.   Professional at all time, one of the best websites around and excellent locations.

I remember when Eastern companions shut its doors..... and thought how tough it would be to find another..... The belladonna was good for awhile ...until their unfortunate happenings...... knew jill wouldn't be around forever......  curious to see who will fill this void

Flirt has potential ....but i think they need a better website

Everything that has been said about Jill has always indicated that she was an honest professional who operated with transparency and integrity.

Her site clearly stated that after the first visit, screening info was destroyed. Presumably, all she had after that was your hobby name, ter ID and hobby phone number. You bought your hobby phone with cash, and always topped up with cash, right? So all you need do, if you're very concerned is throw your hobby phone in the Mystic and buy a new one.... with cash.

I have not used an agency yet, for precisely the reason that it seems to me to be a higher risk, but was considering using RSG because Jill's reputation gave me enough confidence to believe that she would destroy any personal info that I gave her for screening once I made the safe list. Even if she didn't, again her reputation for smarts and savvy would give me confidence that she would know that giving up her client list would only make matters worse, irrespective of what they told her in the interview room.

Feel free to explain why I'm being naive. I'd rather have the error of my ways pointed out than end up doing 5-7 and loosing my career.

Jill is an amazing woman, and a straight shooter. It saddens me that she is gone, as I feel that she was by far the best agency in the business. She will be sorely missed!!! As much as an impact this has had to both clients & providers, her decision must be respected. I'm sure she had her reasons whatever they may be. She protected us all! ;)
