It is ALL TOO COMMON among visiting girls and it is a bad idea. If you read the postings here from local indys and agencies, other than Boston, they never mention what city or town they are in, only general locations.

This is the second instance in less than three days in which an alias has taken the time to antagonize a visiting provider regarding the content of her advertisement.

Rather than policing visitors you should self-police yourselves.

It is true, "unwelcome guests" view every escort mall, visible hobby board and review site, TER included-going so far as to attempt infiltrating them posing as providers and hobbyists.

However, it is unrealistic for us to believe that "hiding" the town we're in, save for screened guests is an effective measure for keeping "the hobby safe".  Irrespective of the fact that some of you only operate within the realm of TER there is a wide world of escorting out there and the hobby is less effected by a handful of visiting providers (who visit for what, two, three days?) than what is going on outside of TER, Eros etc.

We have all been to the area that she referred to: the last time I checked, there were more than two or three hotels in it.  The last time I checked, there are at least 5 towns in close proximity where models say they are at for the sake of helping estimate drive time and are ultimately sitting in another.

If you have an issue with the fact that a provider shows her face or announces her area or proximity-don't see her.  But I am SICK of seeing girls being paddled on the board for their "ignorance".  Your PM and email features also work-instead of drawing attention to the "issue" perhaps you should exercise discretion and simply contact her privately in an effort to educate and inform her OR direct her to a stable provider who is willing to offer infos and advice like Camille offered above.

Every site gets it's fair share of scrutiny as does this one. If those sites had message boards there would be people posting on them raising the same issues that we are raising here. The local board is what makes TER different from escort malls and ad sites. I don't feel it's my "obligatory duty" to do anything. I do however have a right to post my opinions here just as you and others do.

Sorry if you don't agree with my stance but no one here is "paddling" anyone. This is a community in a very real sense. Individual behaviors can have a direct effect on everyone who is involved in the hobby.  Weather you realize it or not, the ladies who are indiscreet effect every one of us not just themselves or the gentlemen who choose to see or not see them.

Contrary to what you and the OP seem to think, I am not laying blame here, simply asking people to use common sense and discretion.

First you where condescending and rude (IMO) in your first post. You continue to be so in your follow ups. As she is not from here, how would she know what "Metro West" is? Or any other geographic location around town might be? Hell there is confusion locally on what "Metro West" is (some would say it is more west then Waltham).

As stated by others, you could have PM'd her or sent her an email. Instead you chose to chastise her on the board, but more to the point you didn't provide any helpful resolution for her even after you post she had no way to change it to be relevant.

And why hide behind an alias? Don't have the guts to post with your real handle...

I've been calm all day. With all the BS that gets thrown around on this board I'm frankly quite amazed that the few respondents who have prolonged this thread have nothing better to do than bust balls on someone who is simply calling for discrete thinking and safety for all involved in the hobby.
