WordWeb is a free dictionary/thesaurus program that loads to the Windows system tray. It appears to work with most programs including browsers. Just highlight the suspected word and then click the "W" on your system tray. Unfortunately you can't spell check an entire message. Hey, it's free! Give it a try.
