I received the following e-mail from her address.  I had corresponded with her a number of years ago.  Anybody know what to make of this??

I have bought a domain in which every John's information will be posted for your wives, kids and employers to see. For those that have already have their work information available, your emails will be mailed to your employment. For those that had "outcalls", this information will be sent to your homes.

How can I persuade you not to? Easy. Submit a GreenDot MoneyPak # in the amount of $500 within 72 hours to this email address and your name and any trace of you will be deleted and kept off the Internet

Like anyone would believe what an asshole like this would put up on the net anyways.

 Got the same email last night. I haven't seen her in over a year and never used personal info when meeting with her. I semi feel like its an empty threat just to get some money from their misfortune. I do hope she's OK though because from what I remember is that she's a great woman.

What's disconcerting is that it came from her email address.  It is attempted extortion, and since they are contacting people from out of state, a federal offense.
Her web site is down.  She is either complicit, which would be conspiracy, or doing it herself.  After contacting people, if a web site goes up, the emails would be exhibit A.  Not the brightest strategy here.

yes you got an email from her, that doesnt mean anything ever happend involving sex for fee. dont get stressed. emails get hacked too i have heard and like a hacker could get into anuther persons email . Who knows it could be a scandal to make her lose business, i wouldnt answer it and if need be chagne the email address it takes two min on yahoo go to yahoo set up new account. No one can prove you and her had relations unless she has a tape like that iane lady did to her dudes.

This isn't exactly a very clever extortion attempt, either.

I doubt Miss Vixen is involved.  Has anyone tried to contact her?  Give her a chance to respond.  Her computer may be infected and out-of service.  She needs to change her password at least, maybe set up a new address.

No. This is the one he is talking about. I received the email as well. Not very smart on her part if she is behind it.
I for one am someone if any of my information shows up online (as little of it that she has), would be fine filing extortion charges against whoever posted it. And I bet I am not alone out there.

sorry for the strange website link but it's the best I could find since her main site is down. But it will give you her photos and write up. I love how she says she is professional and classy yet pulls a move like this (if in fact she is behind it, if not then I apologize).

LC69 you are correct.  I looked at ana's site, and you are correct in calling her lovely.  I also read some of her reviews, clearly talking about two different providers.
Apologies to Ana for being associated with this tawdry mess in any way.

I saw Vixxen last summer.   It was my understanding that she retried around November '11 and was paying some 'final visits' to areas over the few months following.  She's been off the radar, twitter deleted, site disabled and she stopped posting on her forum quite a few months ago.

I've since deleted the email address that I used to correspond with her (general housecleaning every so often), and I was verified via DC, so she never had any personal info of mine.   Seems like pretty good 'best practice' to avoid this sort of problem.

My guess is that it is a jilted husband / boyfriend / whatever, or possibly a hacker who just realized he snagged a good email account -- the suggestion that she's cooperating with law enforcement is pretty firmly refuted by the fact that this ass is engaging in extortion / blackmail.

Either way, seems like just something to roll your eyes at.  Hope she's physically okay.  Might be worth contacting MoneyPak to say someone is using her email address for blackmail and to freeze any payments, though...

They are killing the industry because these extortion scams erode a certain trust around the keeping of confidential personal information that needs to exist for this business to survive.   I don't know how this all started but if it doesn't stop all providers are going to suffer the consequences.  Perhaps it started with this provider getting her email compromised.  I don't know.

for making it crystal clear that it was not me.  My assistant goes to great lengths to keep my email safe, and secure.  We keep no personal information - REALLY!!!!!

Same person now spoofing someone else's email and doing same thing. She is not too clever. No response is the best response.
