I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a pure American-Indian provider working in Boston? Not a half Cherokee and half Italian/Irish or some version of that but a true Pocahontas, who looks the look, walks the walk, and talks the talk, and who might've even been born and raised on the reservation.

I suspect if it's possible it probably would be someone from the Midwest since last pure Wampanoag died sometime at the end of 19th or beginning of 20th century. When I traveled in Dakotas and in New Mexico I used to see and even know some people who I had no doubt had not a drop of white or black blood in them. Here in NE though I suspect it would be a bit harder.

a weird obsession.  As a 100% First Nation individual, I am curious why a true blood has to walk the walk, talk the talk, and be raised on a reservation.  I'm NORTH American Indian, adopted as a baby by white people, yet still the truest Pocahontas around.  I'm in Boston every month to see my Bruins.  Not really interested in seeing someone so specific but hey, whatever.  Most men just enjoy the good looks, lol.  Good luck!

And I beg to differ with you on "most men just enjoying good looks". Some I'm sure are but, make no mistake about it, good looks are dime-a-dozen, just look at all of the truly gorgeous ladies of this board. Your ethnic heritage and you yourself being such an avid sports fun I think is something much more unique. Granted it's not for all too but still. I, for example, am a huge sports fun myself but I know many who are just not into sports.  

I don't think it's an obsession at all. I see many providers' ads that state "no black men". I also have seen the ones that say: "black men preferred". I consider neither of those cases weird. I know a provider who has a big issue with Indian men (as in from India). And that not only concerns looks but certain behavioral traits as well. Tastes differ. Are Native Americans so special that they can't be preferred or sought after (or not) because of their distinct looks and/or behavior? But be as it may, I personally don't care, although just like anybody else I have my preferences.  

Actually I wasn't even asking for myself. I have a classmate that I haven't seen in 35 years visiting from overseas who is heavily into American Indian experience and lore but in some ways is a bit too straight (in my modest opinion) and as such need to be corrupted farther

When I told him that I know some quality local providers in the area, he didn't appear interested but when I mentioned that I could try to see if there is a real Indian (as an American Indian) out there his eyes lit up. So I knew it would be a long shot but still figured I'd ask and see if there is anything that can be arranged before he leaves next week.  

My ATF provider is a Mediterranean type. Among her many great qualities is her tendency to make great use of Party City/IParty. I have no doubts that she could dress up and behave as a perfectly convincing "Pocahontes." But being incredibly well-versed on the subject matter and with facial features and her tanned but still obviously white skin my friend would instantly see that she is a fake. So Alas..

Gee girl, you got to be proud of your heritage instead of acting all uptight about it! If I'd be you I'd be happy that somebody is looking for a real Native American for a change instead of white, Asian, African-American or Latina as seems to be the case 99.9% of the time!  

By the way, in your profile it states that you're Native American. Obviously for some reason you don't mind it there! I'm sure many men are not finding you because they are searching for a "pretty girl" but because they filter for Native American in Philadelphia or DC. What's wrong if somebody is asking for Native American on Boston discussion board?!
