I do have some of my "pets" or favorites who I email more often, especially if I find something that I think they would enjoy (a funny link, etc) and visa versa.

For first bookings, I prefer:
Introduction (I then ask them to fill out a form on my site or email me the info requested if they haven't already)
Form email or verification (to which I respond with either we can set an appointment or not, I don't like no response)
Call or txt to tell location
Call or txt for room
And then I always send a thank you email. (It's how I was raised).

For subsequent:
"When are you available", setup a date
Call or txt location
Call or txt room

C'est tout.

Generally speaking, how many "pm's or e-mail's" does it or should it take
before you meet?

I ...

introduce myself (1)

I then book the date (2)
(This may take another if date and time was not available)

I then confirm the day before (3)

I then confirm the day of (4)

Text / call for room # (5)

seems avg. but also seems like alot.

Your thoughts if any?

I like how you send a thank you email after your appointment. I wish more would do that. I usually send a thank you text to the provider after my appointment as I was raised that way too. :-)

....eh yeah that's about right.....a little banter in between is okay. 5 might be a minimum for me anyways.
