I don't really like them and do my best to get posts around them.  Now that most of the ads are up and not going to push this down quickly, I wanted to let you know my Mod style.

There seems to be some residual impressions that posts from provider's will be presumed to be ads despite intent.  That's not how I exercise my admin given discretion, so I would ask the providers to test the waters and try.

There seems to be some residual impressions that any post that may possibly even give the slightest offense to the most sensitive will be pulled and result in moderation.  That is also not how I exercise my admin given discretion. LOL

I don't want a free for all, but I also believe in giving EVERYONE a voice on the board.  So long as you don't PERSONALLY flame someone; out information on a provider or hobbyist; or step on an ad, your post will most probably stay up.

What is stepping on an ad?  Making direct negative reply comments to the ad regarding price, physical appearance, types of services offered, posting history, or other things not related to the business end of the hobby.  Negative replies regarding NCNS, rip off, communication problems, B&S, or other nefarious business practices BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE or verifiable board info (should be a link included) are not considered stepping on an ad, and are allowed.

If you want to talk about price, appearance, services offered, or anything else, make a general post about it.

There are a LOT of providers and hobbyists in this community who can bring value to the board.  I hope you do so, and I'll try to keep the discourse as open and free flowing as possible.  I'd really like to see this community actually become a community again.

I again invite those who are moderated to contact me by either PM or post to this thread to request unmoderation.  If you have some reviews (provider or hobbyist) and/or some compliant posting history, I will usually cut you loose.  If a provider has a history of compliant ads, I will cut her loose.

Again, any suggestions for getting some action going, please make them.

BTW, I don't like "theme threads,"  and they don't seem to go over well here anyway.  However, if you want to show us your tits, ass, or other attributes, I don't mind a periodic thread like that at all (actually I really, really like it).  I'll manage the frequency and timing of those threads as they come.

don't agree with me.  I don't take any of this personally, and I appreciate all feedback.  Do it by PM or on the board, I don't care and will answer you.

I believe the above to be fair.

I also agree that a provider's ad is NOT the place to bitch about prices or services. That is un-TER-like.

I will do my best to play by the rules.

Thanks for the guidelines.  Seems like you want to loosen up the board some, which is probably a good thing.

I don’t know how many problem posts get pulled, but do notice some disappear.

Lack of activity on the board may be due in large part to less activity in the hobby, with the slow economy.

any way you can find out why reviews are taking so long for approval?
