Rude introduction to the hobby

I posted this earlier on the general board. Just read replies and some encouraged me to repost it on the Boston board.

I've dabbled in the hobby once in Montreal and everything was great. The girls asked for the amount that was stated on the website and I got what I expected, which was full on sex.

Recently, I decided that it'd be fun to try it again, but in Boston where I live. I'm curious to know if my experience is typical of Boston or I was just unlucky.

I got a girl named Summer from Boston Pussycats. To start off she was 45 min late. When she walked in she didn't look like the upscale model in the picture, but rather like a pretty guest on the Jerry Springer show. By that I mean that she was attractive, but her style was kind of white trash.

As soon as she had the initial $200 in her hand she asked for another $200 in order for us "to have a really good time". I immediately became skeptical, but all my attempts to find out what she meant by that remained unanswered. At this point I should have cancelled the whole thing, but being a noob at this I actually ended up going to an ATM to withdraw another $200 against my better judgement... since I'm not a drug dealer I don't keep copious amounts of cash lying around the house.

As I found out "really having fun" meant getting a hurried, completely devoid of any feeling handjob. I got zero enjoyment out of it as the whole situation was pissing me off rather than exciting me.

The experience left me feeling like I got completely hosed and not willing to dip into the hobby again or at least extremely skeptical about it.

This was until I found this site. It seems like some guys get what they expect and that there are much more professional providers than the one I had the misfortune to meet.

Anything anyone would like to say is fine. I'm just interested in different opinions from both sides of the hobby, as you guys call it. One thing you don't need to do is to tell me that I acted like a total moron. I already know that. Faced with a situation I had no experience with whatsoever I totally flopped and the bitch walked away with the easiest $400 of her life.

Boston Pussycats is a f'cking rip off. The girls don't have sex ever. Never use them. They suck. They are all bait and switch. I am surprised people still use them. Try an independent.

well that sucks but you are here now and with a little research and knowledge you will do just fine I am sure.

Boston has some very Lovely local gals, and many absolutely Fabulous visiting ladies coming each week to Beantown. I see no reason you won't be able to find many sweeties who can make you a very happy man.

Justchalk it up to a hard lesson to learn and now use the tools ter has for you to make all your future connections warm sweet adventures!

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience.  Boston Pussycats is a ripoff, and you could have saved yourself a bunch of money and angst if you had done a little research first.  Having said that, many of us have fallen into the same trap when starting out in the hobby.  Finding this site should help steer you towards more positive experiences.

There are several excellent agencies and indies in this area.  Visiting Girlfriends, The Bella Donna, Boston International and Room Service are among the agencies providing the best service.  Check out the agency websites beforehand to see who is on the schedule and who might be to your liking.  Also, I recommend a full TER membership so that you can check the reviews for individual ladies.  Good research is the key to a positive encounter.  

I don't have much experience with local indies, and so I'll leave those recommendations to others.

Boston has many great indy ladies AND several great agencies that have well reviewed ladies and don't do bait and switch BS.

If you do decide to try again do some research first. Don't get taken in by pictures of pretty girls on websites and don't make the call on the spur of the moment when you are horny and your little head is doing all of your thinking for you.

I mean, your advice is good, but it's kinda hard to use the search function when you don't even know it exists... :-)

So mr. peon, what exactly is your question? Are you asking if all escorts in Boston are ripoffs - or are you asking how to avoid the ripoffs?

I'm not a frequent flier -- 5 providers in 3 years. Those that I have seen have all been indies and NONE have been ripoffs, upsells or anything of the sort.

So, no, this isn't a typical experience -- at least not for me.

totally agree with all the other posters so far, but i will add some additional opinion:

yes, there are great agencies and incredible independents here in boston, but you will find it difficult to get the kind of girl (on a french, hotness scale) at the kind of prices you'd get up north. although there are visiting girls from montreal who will come down here occasionally. (though, of course, there are at least a handful of my favorite exceptions.)

otherwise, check out the agencies, as another poster has listed here.

I'm sure that's not how you meant it...

I was fortunate in this hobby thing.  I didn't even realize the hobby existed until one day I stumbled upon TER while searching for strip club reviews.  Because I found TER before I ever even made my first call, I've had an abundance of GREAT experiences (OK, one was a TOTAL DISASTER, ending with the lady's total inebriation and blueballs for me).

Get VIP membership, spend some time on the newbie board, learn the  jargon, research for your particular interests, and enjoy.

Hopefully, the memory of that experience will be obliterated by some really, really great times.

Often you get the repsonse there are a lot of great agencies and independents . That is a standard line BS line . In no other business would that be the repsonse to bad customer service but unfortunately that is often the response in the US. In the rare occasion where I have not received the services exspected in either London or Toronto , the agency has made it up to me AND asked me to post the bad service so that the provider would get her act together.
It is a business and we are clients

What I'm always surprised about is clients unwillingness to walk away even when its clear that they are being had.

#1  If the girl who shows up is not the girl in the picture WALK.

#2  If the girl asks for a dontation in excess of the donation stated on her web page or TER profile WALK.

#3  If the girl doesn't look that attractive to you.  WALK.

In fact you as a client, have the right to end the appointment at any time if you aren't satisfied with the girl or the services you are being offered.  

Men rarely exercise this right and go through a rip-off, or just plain a dissapointing experience.

Even reputable providers would rather have you walk away, instead of staying and wasting your money.

In this case, the moment a girl you saw a girl who wasn't the girl in the photo, you should have done like Pantera or the Cure and WALKED.

I don't think it is BS at all to say that his best option is to move on with one of the many good local agencies or indies.  I understand what you are saying, but do not expect Boston Pussycats to make this right.  The agency is a ripoff outfit, and trying to get them to remedy the situation is going to be a waste of time.

Therefore all that can be assumed from what he said is that Drug Dealers keep copious amounts of cash lying around.

He is not saying that if you have copious amounts of cash, you are a drug dealer.

He said if A then B.   What you assumed is if B then A.   That is not valid reasoning.

Give the guy a break.   He is posting his experience with a ripoff agency, and saying that he learned his lesson.  Good for him!
