Melinda I work right down the road from you and thank goodness we've managed to make it through inscathed, however my boss's home was destroyed- so needless to say it's been very emotional around here.

I'm glad you're ok & I'm thinking of you.. oxox

PS- As long as Sanitas is still standing I'll be "ok" ;)

For those that do not know me from my Boston days...I have many friends out there but am now based out of Boulder Colorado. Luckily I was out of country during the floods and missed much of the craziness in my own community. All is well. My home and family and friends and critters are all fine and dry..and my own location was high enough to be void of much. the picture of the 3 cars that fell into the sinkhole is next to my workplace and many of us are mobilized to action to assist those that we know that have lost their homes or got airlifted out of their towns. It is a small community (much of the flood plain is less than 10 miles and firmly in my running/cycling pathways) but we are incredibly optimistic (part of the draw to come out here) and incredibly resilient. Wildfires, tornados and floods are part of life out here..but this flood was a doozey. thanks for the PM's and well wishes and yes, I am OK and thriving and hope to see y'all soon.
