Why do providers post a schedule that they are doing Incalls on certain days in a certain area at posted times who then when contacted say .." I only have out calls right now"  or have a scheduler who does all their appointments and knows when they are booked say " I have to check and see what time she is available" and have to call you back more than once to see of the time is good for you. This has happened more than once. What exactly does the scheduler do?

Or they have posted times say ... 11am to 10pm at a hotel somewhere and you call them and they say." I can't get in the room until 2 or 3 pm" and it is supposedly the second day there.

Does this happen to you frequently?

Fairly common for a girl to post dates she will offer incall in a certain location, and cancel or change dates.  Could be something happening in her personal life, or could be not enough hobby response/prebooking to make it worth paying for hotel and waiting for phone to ring.

Agencies may post a girl visiting for 3 or 4 days, then have her leave early if business is slow.

Thats my $0.02 based on a lot of scheduling experience.

This is very true about the providers.  Most hotels don't let you check in either 1 or 2pm the earlier if doing incalls for hotels.  If these providers have their own place that is very discreet, then that is different, but she has to be discreet too due to living in the neighborhood area.

This isn't a regular steady job, most girls don't just sit by the phone waiting for it to ring. They're often out doing real world activities (errands, out with friends/family, etc.) when you call. Sometimes they can drop whatever they're doing to see you, and sometimes it may take them a few hours. Pre-booking is generally the best way to go. If you try to make last minute appointments, you'll often run into issues like this.

I think the hobbyist's time is worth something also. We are always told how the providers time is valuable and how we shouldn't waste it without wanting to pay for it.  

You notice I am Only speaking in general terms and not mentioning any one provider or another.

I agree with all that I. I don't expect someone to work the whole time.

But your quote of hobbyist time, eh??? Sure shows what you think of our time. But if we thought that of yours you would think we were turds. We don't want to spend hours to set up an appointment any more than you want to go back and forth with emails etc.  Why.. because time is money. for you and us.

I don't have the problem only a couple of times and only with a provider I thought I wanted to see.

But it's all good. We are here for a good time and providers are here to make a living.

we arent sitting in the room 24/7 and as a booker, there are two trains of thought going mine, and hers.
I can book all the appts but if she wants to work at a slower pace see less clients that day in the end its her call its her schedule.
Last minute bookings are just that, last minute. most women have their schedule up days before they start giving most men enough time to make an appt. on the day of her availability has shrunken due to prebooked appts. Indys are not agency girls. They know in advance pretty much prior to the day who they are seeing and when.
If they are local their clients are often times regulars.
You seem frustrated with your inability to book a last minute appt and thats on you.
May I suggest you call one of the many great agencies in the Boston area they thrive on last minute appts and can book you easily.
I understand your frustration but Camille is not where you should take it out on...

I was not taking anything out on Camille. And Nic ,I was not referring to you either. You do a great job booking and I understand all about last minute appointments. This is not my first day at the rodeo.

I was just putting something out there and wondering if any other hobbyists had this problem.

I agree with you on that point.  I think we all need to make it easier to see each other.  I feel that the system needs improvement on both ends.  After all this is a business.

I agree, it would be great if EVERYONE made it a little easier to see one another.
I recently got myself a booker because I am guilty of not opening my email for a few days, and  get caught up with "real" jobs and life and such. So I trained a friend to answer emails and phone calls for me so my clients were not waiting to hear back from me. Needless to say, I found it even more confusing to have a 3rd party so that was nipped in the bud, but I guess my only point is that I have and continue to try to make it easier to accomdate clients BUT, one thing I really really wish the boys would start doing, is sending sreening info.
WHYYYYY must it take 3 or 4 emails back and forth of me pulling teeth just for you dat-check #??

Especially when you are trying to get booked last minute, for an incall, when I'm usually outcall, and you want to be met in 2 hours?!
The thing is, I can always finagle it  but I need your info so that can be done first so I don't find out after I've already paid for an incall, that you can't be verifed.
Guys, when you decide to make that first contact to the girl you would like to see, why not just send your screening info right away?  I just don't get it...

My .02 on this is and I understand that you are speaking in general, not specific terms:

1. Pre-book (meaning 1 day prior) if you can't, have patience with last minute bookings
2. Understand and accept an explanation if a provider has to move location and looses 1-2 hours In transition as it is most likely for your safety-discretion as well as hers
3. Go back to 1.- if you Pre- booked you wouldn't be between the booker who knows her schedule and is most likely asking provider if she would like to add someone on to her day at that point.
4. Know that being a heavy poster with these kinds of things that really should be handled privately will only deter someone in this climate from seeing you as they may fear that if they are not 100% because they squeezed you in as you didn't Pre-book that you may write about them in an open forum or in a review.

Time, hotel fees, schedule, body constraints peace of mind, safety, screening, this is all part of the game for us and as long as we balance the above we can really enjoy our work and continue to make you smile. This business does not fit into a box and we are all doing our best to please.

I clearly understand all the nuances of the booking and scheduling that has to be done for everyone to feel safe and secure. Both providers and hobbyists.
I was not talking about anyone in particular , just general terms.

Wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers, and certainly not calling ANYONE out for this.
