It is a shame you all have to get your satisfaction from another team winning. Why dont you stop being bitter and enjoy the sport. I have been a yankees fan over 30 years. The Yankees did not play great ball at all. Rest assured there will be major changes next season.

It does not bother me my team lost I am still here i did not move away and i still wear my yankees clothes.

Boston played great ball but they lost again even though it may have been Littles fault stop making excuses and putting the blame on some one different I an sickened by redsox fans i see they always make up excuses

remember there is next year. The red sox are one of the best teams in MLB

It was one of the more exciting years in baseball and enjoyable to watch. Some of us are unhappy while others are pleased with the results. That's why we are sports fans, we can always look forward to next year. The seasons are too long in all of the major sports, at least by 2 weeks. The bottom line is $$$ of course, but that's another subject for another day. I will miss " God Bless America" sung in the 7th inning of all baseball games but the meaning of it should last thruout the year. Sports,should be put in its proper place and the rivalry's they cause should be put on a friendly level. In closing, all I can say is, "Go Pats".

Well, I volunteer to be his replacement but it may be hard to guarantee 95 wins and a 7th game of the ALCS. Boston is tough on it's managers and coaches. Of course Crystal, if you were the inspiration, I think all the players and I would overachieve and that could be enough to satisfy even the most pessimistic fans.
The more I think of it, why not? Nothing to lose, right? At least we all would have smiles on our faces. :)

Hey.  We understand the Red Sox lost.  So stop posting.  And by reading your statement you are making excuses for the Yankees.  Instead of saying they played bad ball, why don't you try saying the Marlins are a better team.  Having said that, let it go.

If they were they would have clinched there division
but they won the worls series again like the first time on a wild card

One more time.  You still can't give the Marlins credit.  If the Yankees are supposedly are better team they would have won.  That's why they have a WORLD SERIES.  They beat them 4-2 which I believe is a 667 winning percentage.  And for more information the Yankees got to beat up on much weaker teams like Balt 19 times and Tb 19 times and Det.  In any case, the Marlins BEAT the Yankees.  The Yankees didn't lose it.

was going to let this b-ball thing go till next year but .....that is so far aay.. :>)..
  in ALL sports , the next best thing to rooting for your team is , rooting for the team you hate to lose, guess that strikes yankee fans who believe we all should be yankee fans as being pouters or sore losers , just shows you how out of touch of reality they are, thinking they watch a little bit too much oprah and dr.phil.
 we (sox) do love the game of b-ball, thats what makes this years world series so special(cept no sox).  davey beat goliath!
 rooting for your team and rootng against your rival or team u hate , rooting for the underdog....thats pretty damn u s of a to me

JOKE:


Two boys are playing hockey on a pond near Boston Common when one is
attacked by a rabid Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy takes his
stick, wedges it down the dog's collar and twists, breaking the dog's neck.


A reporter who was strolling by sees the incident, and rushes over to
interview the boy. "Young Bruins Fan Saves Friend from Vicious Animal," he
starts writing in his notebook.

"But I'm not a Bruins fan," the little hero replied.

"Sorry, since we are in Boston, I just assumed you were," said the
reporter.

"Red Sox Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack" he continued writing in
his notebook.

"I'm not a Red Sox fan either," the boy said.

"I assumed everyone in Boston was either for the Bruins or Red Sox. What
team do you root for?" the reporter asked.

"I'm a Yankees fan," the child replied.

The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes, "Little Bastard
from New York kills Beloved Family Pet"
