You are Right a condom is not the ONLY solution for safety.......but that is true for vaginal sex as well but we have learned a few things about safety to help avoid "most" problems right? (That is why we don't use old, opened or expired condoms, we learn how to put them on properly and use the Right size , change them after every 15 minutes of use(We alway's make sure we have plenty.....Right!), use them in only one "opening" and then change for another)

Well same with Toys. It can be "safer" if you put a condom on it no matter if it's a toy for vaginal or anal. Alway's use a toy cleaner before and after EVERY use.

Most IMPORTANT For anal play BUY Silicone toys ........they can be Boiled as well as dishwasher safe for sterilization. When you use a toy on someone and doing Incall take off the condom clean it with a toy cleaner and put it aside til you can put it in the dishwasher or boil it......use a different "Sterilized" toy on each person. FWIW a person could never clean themselves so well that they wouldn't have Bacteria there......just because you can't see it!

As far as strap ons, I just wanted to answer to what you wrote above. There are Many toy's/harnesses for what ever comfort level you happen to be in.

There are strapons that the harness is attached to your legs, there are short harnesses (harness resembling a pair of bicycle pants, these have a cut out for the dildo) and are extremely comfortable.....as well as completely covering your genitals., there are also the panty or g-string harness.   Whatever the case just make sure it fit's properly and the dildo is directly over your pubic bone.
