I'll start by saying I totally agree - showing up dirty for an appointment is unacceptable.

My question relates to mid day and end of work day appointments.  Now, I always brush my teeth (even if I'm at the office) before going to an appointment.  I also will try to through some listerine in on the way (thanks to Dunkin Donuts for the all of the old cups...).  But, when I head to a visit directly from work I can not have recently (within the last 8 hours or so) take a shower.  I don't do any heavy lifting at work but I do run from appointment to appointment and through the course of the day I may collect sweat or whatever.

Fully understanding the value of a woman's time I'll usually ask if it is ok if I jump in the shower prior to having fun and I've never really considered whether or not that time counts against the clock.

However, if showing up clean is such a problem, maybe it would be appropriate to allow a guy 3-5 minutes to shower and not count that against the clock?  Do providers do this now?  Would those of you out there, both agency and independent be for or against a 3-5 minute shower "grace" period?

Maybe my situation isn't applicable as I shower, shave, deodorize and brush every morning and I don't do any strenuous activity while working but I'm curious to know provider thoughts and client experiences.

All I can speak on is my own opinion. I go out of my way to make sure a gentleman walks into a tidy room as well as take pride in making sure that I am clean and fresh for our encounter. If a guy comes in dirty and will not accept the offer on a shower he will not have the best experience with me.....and I will most likely not be seeing him again.

For the most part most of my clients are "Awesome!!" as far as making sure they arrive fresh/clean and I try to do my best to make sure they leave happy happy men! I understand that some guys come straight from work and thats not a problem so I always offer a shower and fresh towel as well as listerine on the counter.....some take the offer some don't. I also suggest that they take a shower after our encounter especially if they are going home to a SO (women have a great sence of smell guys....so be careful!). For the most part guys take quick showers so I do not count it towards their time. I'd rather enjoy a fun time with a clean guy then be petty about an extra 10-15 minutes.

I have to agree with you Chrissy and the others that have posted regarding this issue. When I spend at least an hour showering, shaving, yadda yadda yadda. I don't think a man popping in the shower is too much to ask.  Even in an office job you can sweat which is totally natural.  However, I would never be intimate with a person either in my professional or personal life without making sure I am clean.  The surprising fact is the men I see are intelligent, professional business men yet SOME don't even use deodorant.  The majority are fine so I have never brought up this issue before.  Any gentleman that wants to shower prior to is certainly not considered "on the clock" with me.  I don't do the egg timer deal anyway.

One thing a man should keep in mind is if you have poor hygiene and use a provider for a reference for someone else that is going to hurt you.  I had a client once that was basically gross and I refused to do a BBBJ which is one of my favorites and wouldn't kiss him.  The man had been in his hotel room for hours and had plenty of time to clean up.  He used me for a reference for another provider and I was not going to sugar coat it.  I would want someone to be honest with me.

For some reason a few men seem to think that providers are a lower life form and don't give a shit.  Just because money is being exchanged does not mean that we are supposed to put up with whatever you choose to do to us or show up unclean and expect us to deal with it.

Moral of my story is:  Do unto others.....(you know the rest)

I'm all for anyone using the shower/bathroom to freshen up before the action begins, actually I'm all for us taking a shower together before the action begins.

I am all sabout hygiene.  Friends that have met me now that.  I prefer when a friend just jums into a shower with out me having to ask.  It saves on that uncomfortable moment when I have to ask a guy to shower.  A guy who askes before I have to ask.  In my eyes values my good hygiene and is a true gentlemen.  I don't usually count this against a guys time unless he decides to loofa, shave, wash his hair and .... You get the idea.  As long as a guy doesn't die in the shower.

Guys who don't want to take a shower or refuse to take one when I request.  Remember, I will still deliver as advertised.  But you will get the bare essentials.  I mean an all inclusive session with no perks or extra goodies.  I love to offer a lovely encounter but that is up to you guys.  If you do or don't want to take a shower.  Just think.  If I opened the door and had bad hair, bad breath, or just stunk.  You wouldn't be able to run fast enough away from me.  Get the picture.(Wink-wink).
