As most of you probably know by now, I try to let the board communities that I moderate police themselves. Most of the time, even the most heated threads have a way of winding down. Everybody gets to express their point of view. I written many times before, if somebody expresses a position that makes them look bad, I’m happy to let the post go up. Posts such as this are enlightening because they give us a better understanding of the offending poster and the board community usually sets the poster straight.

We’ve had a couple of threads recently that have raised the temperature of the board. First brazilian83 posted and her thread developed into an enhanced v. natural breasts debate. Then RacquelOC post went from a debate on her verification requirements to a debate which literally questioned her fitness to raise a child. Some who defended these ladies suggested that you should simply move on if you don’t like something about the lady, be it her looks, her verification requirements or her body type/services offered. I agree with this point of view in principle but I don’t agree with the “If you don’t have any nice to say, don’t say anything at all philosophy either. For example, take the breasts thread…what’s wrong with somebody posting an opposing opinion?

Many of the opinions expressed in the Raquel threads although perhaps valid were dripping with sanctimony. COME ON FOLKS! People involved in the hobby on both sides of the aisle have issues in their life. There aren’t many people in my life who know of my role here. Those who I have told, I have also told that, unfortunately, I have learned many of the stereotypes about the hobby are very real. For the sanctimonious among us who question Raquel’s decision to continue working during her pregnancy, can we next expect a rant against a lady with a heroine problem or another problem which may in fact contribute to her decision to work as a provider. If all of us involved in the hobby made perfect life decisions, there probably wouldn’t be many people here reading this post. Can we expect to see a post from a provider stating, “I will only see single unattached men. I will not see women, couples or anybody who is married or in a relationship. To do so would be morally repugnant!” Ultimately, it comes down to this…how can any of us here stand on a soapbox and tell any of the others, “You should/shouldn’t do (fill in the blank)!"

I don’t like to end threads but I’ve had enough of this one! Hey, I don’t get much for doing this job but at least I get to have the last word on occasion. To brazilian83, I’m not a fan of enhanced breasts but I recognize that it is YOUR BODY! You don’t have to get my vote or anybody else’s vote before you decide to make changes to it. To RacquelOC, you HAVE TO use whatever verification process that makes you comfortable. It’s been discussed here and on other boards over and over again that no verification method is foolproof. If this method works for you, that’s ALL THAT MATTERS! If gents don’t want to provide this information, that’s up to them.

For me, you probably don’t care but FYI, I like thin ladies with dark hair and little breasts. However, I recognize that beauty comes in all colors, shapes and sizes. There is somebody out there for every taste. In the words of clerence37,

“i guarantee you there is at least one hobbyist out there who wants at least one thing from the following list: tall girl, short girl, young girl, old girl, heavy girl, skinny girl, large breasts, small breasts, dominant girl, submissive girl, dark skin, light skin, every hair color, length, and style, every race, creed, and color. There are fetishes involving food, body functions, cigarettes, leather, vinyl, silk, lace, rubber.... shoes, stockings, corsets, and all kinds of lingerie. to name a few.”

Finally, now I get to give a little advice to the ladies. You don’t have to agree with me but my instincts in these matters are pretty good. I’m not saying that you don’t have a right to defend yourself in threads such as these. However, IMHO, you both made a mistake in repeatedly responding to these threads. Brazilian83, you don’t have to justify your breasts. Raquel, you don’t have to justify your verification process or your decision to continue working. By trying to do so, you both put yourself in an unwinable situation. In the future if you face a similar situation in a forum such as this, please take my advice. Post one polite reply and then just forget about it and walk away!

There was so much I wanted to say, I’m sure I left something out. Let’s just go back to enjoying the fine New England weather. In other words…just chill!

I also agree with all of his other points, too!  I find it truly amazing that -- within this hobbying community, which is relegated to the shadowy fringes of society by the intolerance of others -- we can't display tolerance among ourselves...

How can you come out in favor of MEDIUM? Take some chances...live on the edge. In my life, there is no room for medium...only REAL BIG or real small. Consider yourself flamed!

I echo your sentiments.  I've purposedly stayed away from the two aforementioned threads because they were too subjective and there is no clear "right or wrong".

Excellent post Thisty!!  Sometimes we (I) get carried away in these threads.
