I have been disappointed in the Red Sox for so long that I don't even look forward to next year. I can't take it anymore. I am drained, without feeling and numb. Is there an understanding provider who knows how to deal with this situation and restore the feeling that I no longer have. A shoulder to cry on, TLC and patients. You must be special in order to take on this task.

Yankee fans felt ALMOST as bad as you when the lost against Arizona in the seventh game due to an error!!!
You have a great team and this was the most exciting game I've ever seen.

It's over and there's nothing that we can do about it now. There is one thing though, I honestly don't think that Yankees fans understand how Red Sox fans that were born and raised in this area feel about this. It's a right of passage when your dad takes you to your first Sox game at Fenway. For me I was six years old and I remember it like it was yesterday. Playing little league and making believe I was Carl Yaztremski, watching Bucky F@#%ing Dent hit that homer in the '78 playoff game, the ball go through Bill Buckner's legs in '86 when we had it won if that didn't happen. All I can say is it's absolutely gut wrenching. Yankees fans have nothing to complain about even if the Yanks had lost last night. The Yanks have won 26 World Series. Over the years I have grown to absolutely despise the Yankees. I truly hate them and hope they get their butts whooped by Florida.

With all due respect you can never know how bad we feel.  There’s no comparing the Red Sox loss last night to the Yankees losing to Arizona.  You can never understand unless you’re a Red Sox fan.

Even after the worst defeat a Yankee’s fan can forever bask in the glory of championships of the recent and distant past.  A Red Sox fan knows only bitter, bitter disappointment.  

I am so miserable, so pissed even though I knew they would find a way to lose. They always do, there the Red Sox.

Grady Little should be ridden out of town on a rail.  If the Sox management decide to keep Grady around they’re making a big mistake.  He will never, never command respect in this town.

As for Pedro, one word “Choke”.  If he was only making $5 mil a year I’d be more forgiving.  But this is the guy who’s supposed to be the man. The one who was upset that the Sox didn’t give him a big contract extension.  As far as I’m concerned he’s nothing but a better than average pitcher who can’t deliver when it counts.

Do us a favor, don't even bring it up.  We don't want to hear about it and we don't want anybodies sympathy.

Excuse me but I have to go barf again.

Guys I know this is hard to swallow.But the RED SOX did give us a great season this year and they had great chemistry.
Lets hope most of those guys come back next year except of course for one " Grady ( I Know ) Little

The redsox did an awsome job this loss last night was not the redsox it was that asshole they have for a manager

The Redsox players with all there heart and soul what kind of fans are you two.

Yankees fans take a lot of crap from all sorts of fans but if we loose we dont sulk we hold our head up and say maybe nextyear

Colhogan, you just don't understand what it's like. If you didn't grow up in the Boston area wishing for just one championship all of your life. All we've ever wanted was just one season in the sun. We're not sore losers we're frustrated. This is the frustration of generations coming out. I feel especially bad for my father. He's elderly now and I was hoping that he would get to see the Sox take it just once in his lifetime. At his age I don't know if there will be a next year. I hope so and I'll just have to keep saying what I've been saying since the 60's. Maybe next year.

Well...the Celtics will be back. I like the current ownership.

As for the Bruins...either Jacobs has to go or the Bruins have to go so the NHL can start over here. :(

Go Pats...has anybody noticed that they've won 4-5 (including wins over the Titans, Eagles and Giants) and would be 5-5 if not for their "Superstar" quarterback. The injured will be coming back soon.

Go Pats!!! Look for a surprise in Miami!

not a fan of baseball, so im not here as one, but enjoy giving you , a  self-rightous yankee fan the same crap ya dish out
 believe the whole baseball nation ,not just sox hate the yankees, because your owner does what mlb allows him,he buys championships
 when a real "salary" cap goes in effect and the yankees win, i will do what aredsoxfan is about too do..pay your date wth a wlling provder.
 if the yanees win this years ws , great for them , but in reality it wont go down in sports annuls as a great achievement, if the marlins win, it will be remembered forever because of a situation that shoudnt exist to begin with.
 good luck to your team, i wont be watching but for baseballs sake i am hoping for a great series and will be rooting for the underdog da fish

Chandlerhammet you don't need to post under an alias.  I am here and am good to my word.  Apparently, you don't know me or wouldn't question that.  Yes it is 100 dollars an hour till thursday am at 1230.  That was the bet one week following.  I am in Foxboro area Monday and Tuesday as I am truley a Patriots fan.  Outcall only Saturday , Sunday and Wednesday. Then back to being overpriced on thursday and friday in chelmsford
