I read on the national board that CL is likely to be crawling with LE...well, I had been emailing with someone about getting together for about a day...she claimed to be new and all that...after reading the posts on national I got cold feet and told her we couldn't meet and explained way.  The only reply I got was, "you've made the right choice."

Now, I don't know if I'm reading way too much into things or not but it seems that I may have avoided something...be careful out there and be wary of cl.

I did have luck with CL finding a great local dom.  But was able to check her out on her site once she sent the address.  Have e-mailed a few providers listed on CL "erotic services"  section and most tie back to local agencies.  But there are more and more independents and it would not surprise me that LE is behind some of those posts.

I also had the same response from a contact off craigs list. I took away the impression she was angry I had to cancel and thus said "good idea" with the no go for the appointment. I am concerned as I gave alot of personal info. That sucks. Doesn't LE have anything better to do?

I've met a couple of very lovely ladies. Most of these ladies are NON PROS so at first they are shy and leary but once I got to meet them in a public place everything went great.
I found out too that most of these ladies are looking for weekly encounters and are very romantic.

Follow these rules and you should remain safe, right?

1.  When arranging an encounter, never discuss money or sexual  acts.  Make it clear that any gifts provided by you are for companionship and time only.  Sometimes, even the new green providers are not aware of this.

2.  When meeting for the first time in person, never discuss money or acts.  Make it clear that ....same as above...etc....

3.  When at the private place, let things happen naturally and be alert for odd behavior.  If things don't feel right, then just leave!  I NEVER discuss the envelope on the table.  If money for sexual acts is discussed by the provider, then you should be suspicious and clarify again that gifts provided by you are for companionship only etc......if this gets awckward, then leave!

What is CL?

It would be so much easier if everyone did it that way.

I just recently learned about it myself.....boston.craigslist.org is a very basic web site where people can post ads similar to classified ads.....it's very addictive and I'm not sure how safe...
