Go Mitt! Anything to raise revenues or lower expenses.  He won't raise taxes, but if it goes through, there is likely to be some sort of fee involved somewhere, which will come out of your pocket one way or the other.

The State of Massachusetts is the only State in the Union, which requires every single proposal or bill, regardless of its validity to be taken to a vote by the legislature. So, for example, if you wanted to put into law, that every 2nd Saturday of the month, each individual must eat boiled potatoes at exactly 12 noon, to honor the victims of the potato famine, it would have to be taken to a vote!

This will never come to fruition, as logical and economical as it may seem. Too many bad Catholics will oppose it, trust me! LOL

However, public floggings in the Boston Common every Saturday at noon might not be a bad idea~~
