Dingus, If you stay in any hotel near Waltham or Burlington, you can do some hobbying since those area's have quite a few girls from agency girls to independants. The hotels in those area's have great prices and are nice, not seady. There is a big selection too choose from.
Waltham: Weston and Double Tree are a bit pricey but very nice. More reasonable is the Courtyard, Sheraton 4 points, Staybridge by Holiday Inn and the Sierra suites.
Burlington: The Marriott, Staybridge, Sommerfield Suites, Sheraton 4 points, Candlewood, Hampton Inn.

I hope this helps!

Gentlemen and Ladies -

I am forced to come to Beantown to resolve an inssue that will require a face to face meeting on Saturday.  Will only be in town about 14 hours.

What do you experts recommend (and why?) for a hotel for Friday night?  I will be arriving late.

Feel free to PM me with information if you wish to bypass the board.

Thank you in advance for your help here.

What section of town is your meeting and will you have a rental vehicle?

The mountain will come to Mohammad....I will have a rental from the airport and can stay from Boston to Andover....or anywhere in between.

My meeting will be at my hotel if I stay in Boston or Cambridge, and at Harvard if I am in the suburbs.

Right near Harvard although a bit pricey for a short stay is the Royal Sonesta.

On the lower end here is the Best Western Hotel Tria

Another one towards the lower price range is Hyatt Regency Cambridge

I think any hotel in Cambridge should have adequate parking and it is a safe environment.

Dear Dingus15,
This is the newest hotel in the Theatre District. Close to the Commons. The YMCA adjoins the hotel (New and very nice like a Gold's Gym or a Bally's). China town is next door. Rates are wonderful and rooms very nice.
