Really Great Season Pats

And to add, we had almost the toughest final schedule of any of our competition.  Excepting Miami (maybe).  It just wasn't in our cards (no pun).  One consolation is Mangina is out tho.  Pompous ass.  At least he won't be coaching Cassell next year, hopefully.

Lets congratulate the Pats on a season that was a winning season by all standards.  Given the hand dealt to us and overcoming so many personal injuries, I think they played great ball.  I think Bellichek should get coach of the year.

I am in heaven right now, cheaters never win, winners never cheater. Great season(?), haters bring it on.

The pats may be sitting home in January but so will the Jets DJ. As for your Giants they may be 12 and 4 but they cant go back to back wins.  Dynasty is not in their vocabulary.  The Patriots overcame alot of obstacles this year and still had a excellent season.  I'm sad as the playoffs wont be the same without the Patriots and my favorite player was injured this year (54)
I'm happy because The jets head coach Mangini was fired.
The Pats are the 2nd team in history to go 11-5 and not make tyhe playoffs. Another piece of history for Pats fans.   They have a better record than 4 teams in the playoffs.
Pennington has a chance for revenge.  Good luck Miami!
The Pats will be back in 2009.

Jeez, settle down, they beat one good team all year and had the weakest schedule I've ever seen!

I'll definitely agree with that weak schedule, the record should have been higher, but seeing as how the entire team slowly fell apart with injuries, I have to say, they did darn well.

Kudos to their season although I'm bummed about no post-season football that I'm really interested in. I will say it will be interesting to watch Miami though.

Oh God how could I have overlooked that Bob... All the other Conferences were so much STRONGER.  Heck if they were healthy I guess they should have won all there games with such a weak schedule...sorry I didnt notice they only had one good win all year...  Thats Ok though because I thought they had a great year and I am sticking to my story.

They played all those teams from the West. There are no more Raiders and Chiefs in the playoffs, they just got saved the humiliation of losing by 21 points to the Ravens. Injuries? Everybody's got them. I like what Bill Parcells said when he was here, "Some teams are better at advertising their injuries than others."

...that the fish don't roll over the way the Jay's did...

Your kidding with the weak schedule crap, right?

Miami played the sisters of the poor all year...

Look at their schedule.  It is pathetic...

...playing in January, your sitting home making excuses.....

i's all good.....

Go Dolphins
XLIII = 3

Yeah, so how about acting like you've been there before.  Save the gloating for when you actually win a Super Bowl!  LOL, it's pro sports.  No one cares who comes in second...

...and by the way, the Patriots and your Dolphins have the same record wise guy. No excuses need to be made.

Ravens made the 'wildcat' look like a 'putty tat', and the Fish make a quick exit. Stir it up, Joey! Stir it up goooooood.

I TOTALLY agree!  this year he was mediocre, at best.  He should have went out a hero in Green Bay and called it a career.

phew...11 wins and no playoffs???...bummer!

Can't say most NYers will miss him.  The Giants are the cream of the crop again!

Even with Cassel they should have made the playoffs.

None of this liberal crap.  It was a bad season in the eyes of us season ticket holders.

How many other teams lost the greatest qb in the NFL today and still finished 11-5?
Just about played their practice team all year long and still finished 11-5?
nice to see how many guys don't know football
