Don't know if I can wait that long!
How about if the sox trade a couple of pitchers (burger king one of them)and pee wee reese to the rangers for suriano? Would love to see that and that would really piss george off.

They lost over 50 wins from their rotation and Rivera is nothing like he used to be.  We have the best starting five and bullpen.  The offense is a little closer now, but we'll kick their ass come September!!

Oh yeah, like Boston wasn't trying to buy one either when they entered the bidding war first a few months ago for A-Rod and their deal fell through. C'mon... You had a shot at him, too.

The Yankees pay roll is not 200mil its going to be 185mil

now boston was trying to pull it off with arod earlier but got shot down by the players assoc.

Big deal you got shilling and riverra they are both getting old

remember as long as the yankees are in the playoffs the red sox will never get to the world series.

Remember 1918 it will always haunt the sox.

Besides the yankees are trying to strike a deal with Greg Maddoxx

Or did you forget?  He was injury prone last year but come october he was beyond healthy he was almost other-wordly.  No one in his right mind can make a statemate doubting his effectiveness with a straight face;  do we need to play the last three innings of game seven for you again?  And in case you missed Bob Ryan's column sunday?  He rated both starting and the bullpen even but gave the closer edge without any question or hesitation to New York.  If you are going to gloat, gloat over the fact that you still have some better position players (especially in the outfield) but don't think that two great starters makes the best rotation in baseball or even the A.L.  Lowe is great... unless he's on the road;   you better pray the weather is perfect for Wakefield;  and all Yankee fans want more than anything is for Boston to depend on Kim to beat them... he's been fantastic against them in the past.
