I wonder if I'm the only one encountering this but from talking with more than a few k-girls I get a sense that because the way Boston Top Ten and Brown Eye Girl busts worked out they should not be overly concerned with authorities.

Just to refresh, in BTT/BEG bust owners got arrested and 28 hobbyists got indited but apparently no k-girl suffered. In lieu of that I want to ask the old timers, or those in the know... do you remember if any k-girls got in trouble during Boston Asian Dolls bust 5 years earlier? and...

Do you know of any Asian parlor arrests nationwide in last few years where workers (not just owners and/or clients) actually got arrested and/or deported?

Because I get the drift that based on BTT experience few k-girls seem to think that safety precautions shouldn't really concern them all that much.

Although I don't have first hand knowledge of the arrest details, I would assume any Kgirls caught up in these would be expected to be witnesses and thus exposed to other adjacent charges (eg visitor visa violations). If I were them I would hesitate coming to Boston except as independents.

As far as I know no k-girl was caught up in BTT arrests. IME that's what makes some of them feel a bit lax about the whole safety thing.

I was just curious about other cases, the one with Boston Asian Dolls 6 years earlier and massage parlor busts throughout the country.

If they acted as a cooperating witness, they would be shielded from adverse actions.  That said, after reading the charging document, it doesn’t appear the Feds needed the involvement of any KGirl to prosecute their case.
