Presumably, if you have a monthly pass on your CharlieCard, you can ride this bus for no extra charge.
Oh ... if it can read a monthly CharlieCard (no extra charge) then it can surely scan a regular CharlieCard and deduct the 5 bucks.  Doh!

THANKS.

...takes you to/from Backbay for only $5. (Much cheaper than a cab ride.)

And easier than subway with the Government Center station closed for renovations.

See the link below for details.

Nice service to know about. I'm usually too beat to not take a taxi but this is really nice.

Ah, just as I am getting ready to make my reservations to return to New England for the summer!
I've learned to travel light and use public transit as much as possible, partly to save expenses, but also because I just hate getting into a cab with a rude driver who is trying to rake me over the coals and gets pissy when I tell him exactly what route to take-which I do.
Smiley face.
I've just about gone fista-cuffs with cabbies from misogynistic cultures who can't handle a woman calling the shots.  Which, of course, is what I DO professionally, which is an off-shoot of my core personality!
Thanks for sharing...I'm giving you 3 weeks to stop raining and start warming up before I descend on you, Boston, for a Bondassage-filled summer....
Feel the heat!!

Looking forward!!

No worries on the weather.. It was a beautiful day for my bike ride... 70s and sunny.

On you orders, I felt the heat!  (Feel free to supply further commands.  I'm no cabbie.)

...it'd be nice not to have to rent a car next time until I have to head out to Metrowest... Yeah!

dont count on it during rush hour they go a long route and sometimes can take an hr

The website says, "Fares
$5 per passenger
Riders with current, valid MBTA Pass: FREE
Payment
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club are accepted."

What's an "MBTA Pass"? Is that an MBTA employee ID card?  I have my Charlie Card, but it's personal and not a monthly "pass" via payroll deduction.

At the bottom of the page, it says
"Back Bay LEX Services
1-800-23-LOGAN"

You can guess what I thought it said: "Back Bay SEX Services ... see TER.

Damn 5 bucks talk about inflation.

Cheaper than a cab, and generally nicer drivers with better cars.

Just be careful of up charges when car supply is limited.
