Some of the stupid things that I did when I was 20 will still make me physically cringe when I remember them. Poor girl is definitely out of her element, and is really lucky that she spent the night in a cell instead of a hospital room.
Her real stupidity was not telling the cops what she was up to (that's more naive than anything else), but rather trying to tour at her age and market through CL. I don't care what she's been through in life that she thinks has prepared her to try a tour at her age, but she obviously wasn't ready for it. It's sad. This lifestyle, no matter how civilized we try to be here on TER, has some truly mean and evil people both inside and outside trying to exploit the weaker and more desperate players - providers and hobbyists alike.
It should remind us all that screening (by providers through verification and hobbyists through researching the reviews) is not just another topic to bitch about on these boards, but a very important element in the hobby that should be respected by all.
.....Looks like that didn't work out so well, and OBTW, pretty dumb to call and tell LE all the details. Did she think the officers would be caring and sympothetic to her plight?
I understand your point about giving all the details to LE, however, no matter what she does for work, she should be allowed to call the police and have the protection and the crime treated as seriously as anyone that was victimized.
....the guys actions should be taken seriously and treated harshly. Nobody likes to hear about creaps getting violent or stealing from a providers, better for her to spend the night in jail than in the hospital. But, you might think she would come up with a better story for LE, and stick to it.

Yeah she should have screened and CL well that's a nightmare all around. She reported a crime and no matter WHY she was robbed shes still the victim of a crime and should be entitled to equal protection under the law...
She was the victim of, for all intents, a random act. It is going to be almost impossible to find the guys that robbed her since she probably didn't get any real world contact info from them. On the other hand, she confessed to a crime leaving LE no real option other than to arrest her.
If she had been a visiting software engineer instead of a visiting escort there still would not have been much more the police could have done other than take a report and hold it on file. I'd love to know if they actually did that for this poor young lady.
Back in my younger and stupider days I was robbed by a streetwalker while she was giving me a world-class BJ in the front seat of my car in the old Combat Zone. She was so good that I never even realized what she was doing until I found my wallet on the floor of my car after she got out and ran off into the night. I could have called the police with a VERY good description of the young lady, claimed to have been robbed as I was innocently walking to my car at 2am, and gone back to the area with them and tried to get my money back but seriously, would that have been a smart move? I learned a lesson to be smarter and it never happened again. I hope this lady learns from her misfortune as well and takes steps to keep herself safer in the future.
and if the cops wanted to do something about it, they would have this twice victemized gal identitfy the robbers and then see if they can match the descriptions up to mug shots and maybe drag them in.
But that would take some time and effort, wouldn't it?
