I got stood up by an agency girl today! I wish there was a forum that we could express our frustrations....

I am not going to name the out of town agency, but I just want them to know that when a guy makes an appointment, he probably took time off work and was really looking forward to the time. It is bad enough that I had to prebook it out for a couple weeks(I totally understand why but the anticipation is killer) but to call and find that the girl isn't here or coming in two hours before the appointment because I caled them....that is crappy.

I am not a guy that has been out here vocally very much, but this was a bad move.

Am I overreacting?

Been there and it does suck, and not in a good way.

The worst part of this happening to a guy is, If you blast the agency/local girl you will be black listed very fast. It's a no win situation.

I got stood up today - sat in parking lot of incall loc not having the provider pickup.  Oh well - such is life

Thats why its always better to go with Indy's  They are 99% reliable to be there when you schedule.  just my two cents

I got stood up today by 3 girls LOL!!

A new local girl who was supposed to start called at 7:00am saying that she decided to take a part time job at a bank instead, A well reviewed visiting provider who was supposed to arrive today, never returned my calls confirming and never showed up today and last but not least Carmen missed her train and is arriving tomorrow instead of today!

As you can see, I probably get stood up way more than you guys LOL!!

yah 3 times in one day wow Jill thats pretty bad. But a bank job??? Thats lame.

It sucks to be left holding your own instead of enjoying the company of a hot lady...

I do however think that a bit of a reality check is in order. Agency girls work when they want to work and often times the agency doesn't know who is going to be available on a particular day until that day.  

I deal with a couple of agencies in town and I have never tried to book more than a couple of days in advance.  Even then I have been disappointed several times when a lady's plans changed and she ended up not being available on the day of my requested appointment. Agencies have no control over this. I do question the practice on the part of the agency of accepting a booking weeks in advance.

I see indie ladies when I travel and, FWIW, it is not much easier to book in advance with them than it is with an agency.

Lastly I would ask if you confirmed this appointment at any time before the day that it was supposed to happen? Again, don't count on any agency to do this.

I feel your pain. I was stood up yesterday. I recently moved to a city in the midwest where the hobby is almost non-existent. But there are a couple of well-regarded ladies and I scheduled some time with one of them. I called an hour before to confirm. Everything was good. I arrived and the second call was never answered. I felt like an ass waiting and calling again and I felt like an ass driving away.

I miss Boston and New England.
